I was a former employee for Bally's. I was a trainer and instructor. I would not recommend this gym to the serious bodybuilder or person wanting to get into shape. It's more of a "meat market". Too many neon lights and too much glitz and glitter for me.
I now belong to a gym that I absolutely love. It's not bright and fancy, however, who needs that when your going there to sweat...
No steroid freaks or girls with tons of makeup and perfect hair. What serious person looking to get fit needs that.
In addition, why does the management make is so difficult for members to terminate there contract? Because they know that once they have you, they dont want you to go because even they know they are not serious about fitness. They need all the money they can get to pay the ridiculous overhead they have to pay for the neon lights and fancy equipment.
My advice to everyone is to find a qym that suits your needs, not one that just looks good when you walk in. Talk to the staff, take a tour of the gym, and most of all, train smart.
