| carlitosway719's Full Review: Gold's Gym |
I decided to join Gold's Gym after a long talk with my mother. She was getting concerned about my health, and noticed that I've been gaining alot of weight lately. Since Im only 25, she felt like if I didnt take care of it now, then I never would. So, she offered to pay 2/3 of the personal trainer cost with me as long as I stuck with the program. I was a little hesitant at first because walking in their for the first time to talk with the trainer was real intimidating. Even the women in there made me look like a wimp! Anyway, after thinking it over for about 2 weeks, I decided to join up. The monthly cost is reasonably cheap ($30 per month), and the employees are pretty nice. The personal trainers are a bit expensive, which I expected, but it's worth it. They even offered me a discount since I signed up so quickly! The plan I signed up for was for three times a week. The first three weeks, I get trained five times a week with no extra cost! You cant beat that! Although the gym is alot smaller than others I've been to, there's still enough space for people to workout without bumping into eachother. I've been going everyday right after work (around 6pm, their busiest time), and I've never had to wait for a machine. The two trainers Ive been working with are awesome, and they are experienced beyond belief! All in all, I'd definetely recommend this gym to anyone looking to get right for the summer, or just get right period!!!
