I prepaid for 2 years before construction began.
I made it clear that I was joining entirely for lap swimming purposes. They promised a professionally managed lap pool. They told me that my start date would be after the grand opening which was to occur after the parking structure completion and they went to a 24 hour schedule.
They had a limited opening with an empty pool and no parking. Then the pool opened and it was dirty and unprofessionally managed. Hard to swim with kids and horseplay going on. I couldn't swim late at night because the pool closed too early and the gym wasn't 24 hours. I got a really bad foliculitous skin infection from the dirty water. I stopped using the facility a year ago because the pool was unsanitary. 21 months after the limited opening parking opened and they went 24 hours, but the pool closes at midnight. They now claim the opening with no pool or parking was the grand opening. The staff lies and most can't be contacted because they no longer work there. They won't adjust my start date.
The owner doesn't have the decency to even talk to me. He has lots of complaints and probably figures that no one will sue him over $538.
