This diet is very dangerous in losing weight. I have been in fitness for over 4 years and this idea of cutting out the carbohydrates from a persons diet is insane. People should be balancing their intake of protein, carbs and fats to be a healthy person. This also includes exercise on a regualr basis. The body starts burning carbohydrates first. If there is none, it will take from the protein and use that as fuel. This is what happened to me. I became anorexic. People should also know which carbohydrates to be intaking, such as Whole grain foods, whole wheat breads, pastas, potatoes, fruits, vegetables, oatmeal etc,... these give you the energy for the day. It is still important to include some protein and fats in the diet as well. People should go out and find out how much they should be intaking of each source. Besides, fiber (which helps fight off cancers) is found in many carbohydrates.
