Weak. Multiple headaches. The shakes......These are some of the symptoms I found while embarking on this high protein, low carb diet. Meat. eggs. cheese. Name it and I put it in my mouth. The results? 7 ponds of weight loss in one week. I Imagine most of it was from water loss, but anyway, I lost weight. Right? Wrong. You see the premise is this. Eat as much food as you want as long as it is almost 100% protein. Oh, but you can have carbs. Under 20 grams a day!!! I got sick of cramming sausage, eggs, bacon and cheese down my throat. I felt terrible and had constant constapation. I was thirsty all day and craved some carbs which came in the form of salad. After losing my 7 pounds and going through hell while doing it, I decided to quit the diet. Guess what? I gained the weight back in 2 days. This diet is for vastly overweight individuals and not for those who want to shed a few pounds.
