Great program for busy people...it's working for me!

Pros: Convenience! Food is pretty good. No meetings to attend. NS support forum on website.
Cons: Not for everyone. Cost may be prohibitive for some.
The Bottom Line: I love it and would highly recommend it!

I have been on the Nutrisystem program since mid-September. In three months I have lost close to 30# and I am still going strong.
A lot of people will comment that it is an expensive program, but when compared to what I was paying for fast food far too many times a week, I am finding that it is actually costing me LESS than what I was spending before for groceries and eating out.
I am exercising more than ever, drinking more water than ever, and eating a wider variety of fruits and veggies than I ever have in my life.
There are lots of food choices available -- most are pretty tasty, some are not so good, some downright awful -- you will need to try them for yourself, though, as I love some of the things that a lot of other people hate. My coworkers are amazed at how much weight I am losing, even though I eat all day long.
I absolutely love the convenience of Nutrisystem. Once a month my food is shipped to me and I don't have to go to some meeting or storefront to pick up my food. I don't do well with the whole group 'rah rah' thing and I don't have time (or the inclination) to go to a weekly meeting to have some 20-something who has never been even 10# overweight tell me what I need to do to lose weight. I've been on enough diets over the years to know WHY I'm fat (I have always thought that fat people know far more about nutrition than most thin people -- we just don't DO what we need to do to get there).
I've not used the counseling, but have found a lot of support on the Nutrisystem website's forum. It's composed of the 'real people' who have actually lost the weight -- a more supportive group you will not find.
I'm sure it's not for everyone, but I love it and it's working for me!
