Convenient, TERRIBLE TASTING food!!

Pros: EXTREMELY convenient, website is easy to navigate.
Cons: Expensive, bad customer service, food is not very tasty, didn't work!
The Bottom Line: Don't try this diet! There are so many better diets out there! Try Weight Watchers instead. Or do what I'm doing - diet & exercise!!!

Let me start by saying this diet is so convenient! There is no denying that. The problems, however, FAR outweigh the good points.
I can't believe how many people have said that they enjoy the food! Some of it is actually really quite good. The Potroast for instance, is really fantastic as a diet meal. HOWEVER, almost all the rest of it is practically inedible.
***What is the worst? Probably the muffins. They are dry, tasteless, gritty, disgusting. I took one bite & spit it out. I couldn't even CHOKE it down! Also the "Chocolate cake", I thought was DISGUSTING! But, to be fair, I had my family try it & they said "It wasn't good, but it wasn't bad". I'm a chocolate addict, so maybe that's why I hated it so much.
***Portion control is great, but the problem is, if you have any more than 20 or so pounds to lose, you are probably going to feel like you're starving. Part of this, again, could have been due to the fact that I couldn't force myself to eat half the food.
***Customer service is the worst of any company of any type that I have ever dealt with! I returned some of the food (getting the operator this first time was easy) & never saw any kind of credit. I finally canceled my autoship (I couldn't stomach the food & expensive price anymore) and called them up to ask how I would get my refund. They said that they would credit back my card, but they never got the food I sent back. I waited a little while longer, then called again. Basically, they claim to have never gotten it even though the post office says they did. I have called at least 7 times now, all with the same result and lately, a wait time of at least half an hour!
***EXPENSIVE! EXPENSIVE! EXPENSIVE!!! They claim it's about $10/day. Well, sure for THEIR food. In order to get all the nutrition you need, however, you have to buy additional items: Vegetables, Fruits & Dairy - NONE of which are cheap! Also, if you are in a family or married/living with someone, that's $10 for YOU ALONE! Not the rest of your family. That's $350/IN ADDITION to the money you spend on food for the rest of your family!
Basically, I would say if you REALLY want to try the diet, buy some of the food off of Ebay or something. Try it out, if you like it & can AFFORD it, why not try it out? Don't spend $300 on an entire shipment, though, just to find that you don't like it. You will NEVER get your money back if you send it back! In fact, if you DO buy it & decide you don't like it, sell it on Ebay! You might not get as much money as you SHOULD, but at least you get somnething & the BUYER pays for the shipping. I am out the money I spent on the food (probably at least $100 for the amt. I sent back) AND another $20 to ship it back! It's been at least 5 months since I stopped Nutrisystem now & I have yet to receive a refund, I don't expect one. I sold the rest of my food elsewhere and am trying to encourage others not to join this rip-off diet program!!!
