mrt2852's Full Review: Philips Advantage 5615 X Electric Shaver
Shaving has just been made easy by the Norelco Advantage Razor. Floating heads provide a close shave. Flip the lotion button on and receive soothing lotion on your face while you shave. After using this razor, your face will be smoother than a baby's ...
WHAT’S HOT
First off, the floating heads. The razor heads move to adjust to one’s face. Shaving one’s chin is quite simple, as the heads contour to the face.
If irritation is felt while shaving, push the lotion button and receive soothing lotion applied to your face while you shave. The lotion cartridges are easy to replace and inexpensive.
To clean the razor, simply turn on the water faucet and stick the razor underneath. A cleaning brush is also included for the razor for a more thorough cleaning.
For ten dollars more, I purchased the exact same model including a charging gauge. Now, one never has to wonder how much battery life is left. Speaking of battery life, the Norelco holds its charge for 45 minutes to one hour. Not bad for an electric razor.
WHAT’S NOT
The price! This Norelco model cost about $135. Other than the price, I have not experienced any problems with the razor.
THE VERDICT
The Norelco Advantage is well worth the money. Shaving is made an easy, quick task with this electric razor. The features on it are great and the battery life is good.
If one does not wish to spend $135, Norelco offers several other excellent models for a lower price (some around $50). Although lacking some of the advanced features, such as a lotion dispenser, charging gauge, and floating heads, they to offer a close, comfortable shave for a lower price.
