Pros: wonderful cutscenes, well done graphics, nice weather effects and lots of bad guys Cons: characters never seem to look like they're going in the right direction, money is hard to come by early on, Set items too hard to find
Well, they finally got around to making it. They did a very good job on the overall game engine and style. Having 5 rather than 3 character classes is definitely a plus, although I would've liked to have seen more of a warrior/mage mix in class than they...

Pros: Warning! SEVERELY addictive; you can play with real people, cool graphics, cool story and mood Cons: Same birds-eye view with everything, limited characters, it's annoying to keep dying
I usually don't play RPG's, but this one I got as a gift. I played once and I was hooked. I never realized how much fun it could be just to kill stuff. From big hairy monsters, to shades and demons, you get to kill a little bit of everything. I...

Pros: There is a great story line and its very involving Cons: Takes up a gig, some of the interface if downright stupid.
For those of you reading this epinion, if you haven't played Diablo or Diablo II you may not understand what I am talking about in this article. If thats the case go buy the game, you will not be disappointed. Now then, let me say, I love this game. I...

Pros: Great graphics, storyline, characters, gameplay Cons: Not a lot of player storage space, odd walking angles, a little tricky to master weaponry at first.
Why does a game become successful? Is it the graphics? The gameplay? The quality of the storyline? All of these? Sometimes the most well-planned games are duds. Does any of this pertain to Diablo 2? No. I just felt like being philosophical.

Pros: some nice additions and didn't try to change to much Cons: battle.net is always down, laggy at times, gameplay still linear(although much better than part one)
Diablo II: Blizzard Entertainment
Well i figured that since i wrote a review for the first Diablo and am currently addicted to the sequel that i may as well write a review. I haven't been hanging around epinions much recently and there is a...

Pros: Gameplay, advanced characters Cons: Teamwork is almost 'discouraged'
I purchased Diablo II because I was an avid fan of the first Diablo, and had been biting at the bit to try out the next version. Overall, Diablo II is a great game, and money well spent to spend many an evening blasting away monsters mindlessly ......

Pros: Runs on anything Cons: pushed out early, but patch available
I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't too thrilled about Diablo II. I was waiting for Vampire: Redemption. "Diablo's not about role-playing, it's hack-n-slash!" I'd say. "Multiplayer Vampire is going to destroy Battle.net!" Pshaw....

Pros: great improvements over Diablo Cons: still cheating problems, some doubts on product
Diablo left many of us hungry for more as many games have failed to. It was
viewed as a victory in multi-player and single player. And despite the many
problems that human nature itself created (mostly in the forms of cheating
and ruthless...

Pros: Loads of replayablity Cons: Bugs and Problems as of 1/7/01
This game is simply very good! Let's start of with the positives first...
In this Gauntlet Legends type of game, you can pick from 5 characters. Each of them having a unique set of skills. Most likely, you will mainly focus on 1 of the 3 skill...

Pros: Extremely well done cinematics and detailed graphics and sound effects. Cons: Gets too repetitive if you are not careful.
I didn't have a chance to play the first version of Diablo 2. However, even before the second version was officially released, there was already much talk about the game and many of my friends (who played version 1 before) were thrilled that version 2...

Pros: Easy to pick up, many directions to take your character Cons: Addictive
I don't buy computer games often. The last game I bought was Quake III almost a year ago, so for me to buy this it must have been pretty good, right? Right. I also owned the original Diablo back in 1995. If you recall, it was a pretty new and...

Pros: Superb gameplay, superb replayability, superb environment -- I love it! Cons: Multiplayer is frustrating, the resolution is poor
I'll be honest; I spent a lot of time playing Diablo for a few weeks. I'd heard such good things about Diablo II that I thought I'd go back and play the original (only $12, bargain bin). It rocked. 3 classes, random dungeons, addictive, simple...

Pros: Awesome new classes. AMAZING new items!! Great new Act! More storage! Cons: 800x600 prone to slow down. Still need more storage. Constant plague of patches.
When Diablo 2 first came out, I avoided it. I was scared off at first by the $50 price tag. I would constantly tell myself, "There is more to life than computer games, think what else you could buy for $50."
And then, I was browsing around...

Pros: Very detailed graphics at this resolution, 3D sound, more addictive than anything, great characters! Cons: lacks strong play life
Diablo 2 is one game that I have been looking forward to playing for a long time -- actually, ever since I stopped playing Diablo I've been waiting for the sequel. I didn't know what to expect, because I had been reading several posts on the Web, all of...

Pros: great adventure game Cons: slightly repetitive, some lack of tech support
There are some obvious reasons as to why I purchased this game. One of them is the fact that I still play the first version off and on every now and then. Another is a big reason I am so addicted to anything that deals with computers nowadays is the...
