We traveled with A&K to South Africa in June 2007. The trip was a disaster. We were promised a guide to tour with us the entire time, but that did not happen. We experienced nothing but "meet and greets" or as the entire tour started calling them, "pump ...

We took the A&K China Family Holiday in June of 2004. Although we did enjoy China as a destination, A&K guides and tour manager fell woefully short of expectations for the money....
Although we paid nearly $30k for 4 people, we were still expected to give significant tips to guides in every city as well as to our tour manager and bus drivers. Tips were supposed to be included. Also, our tour manager was really rude; not only to us, but also to local people. It was embarrassing. After the trip was behind us, I sent detailed feedback regarding my concerns to A&K, but never received a response. Disappointing.
