I booked a vacation through Classic Custom Vacations. We had 10 people going and they were from all over the US. Classic got us all to Hawaii on the same day and just within a few hours of each other. We had 2 condos on the beach on Maui and they were wonderful, just what we asked for. We had a problem with our first condo, went to the frond desk to ask for help and they looked at our reservations and saw that we had booked with Classic Custom Vacations and said " Classic Custom Vacations is very good to us and we really like them, so we want to keep there business." They took very good care of us and gave us an even better condo for the same price. So that tells me the Classic Custom Vacations is very well known and very well liked by all hotels,condo and rental properties.

I recently purchased a Hawaii vacation from http://www.classicvacations.com and am 100% satisfied with the experience

I found their website to be easy to use and their prices where very competitive (in fact, my vacation was cheaper through Classicvacations.com than it would have been through Expedia).

The best part of the experience was talking to my travel specialist. Gary took the time to understand my needs, and he put together a trip for me based on my input. He also sent me a thank you note when I returned from my trip!

All in all, I am very impressed by Classic's service, and will purchase from them again in the future.

In May of 2004 my wife and I booked a Honeymoon package with Classic Custom Vacations to Hawaii and Maui. Our request to Classic Custom Vacations was to limit layovers and extra flights during our trip. This request was stated clearly when we inquired about booking the Honeymoon. Each itinerary we received from Classic Custom Vacations, from original booking to final itinerary, showed our return flight as a direct flight departing Maui and arriving in Atlanta. However, our actual flight included an unexpected 2 hour layover in LAX at 5 am.

When Classic Custom Vacations was asked for an explanation they blamed Delta for the layover. Further investigation showed our return flight always included the layover in LAX and Classic Custom Vacations had failed to communicate this to us.

In the end Classic Custom Vacations did not provide the service they promised and took no responsibility for the failure.

In the future I will never book with Classic Custom Vacations.

Pros: Hotel photos and descriptions. Ability to call and talk through your vacation plans.
Cons: Prices for some hotels can be high, but often you will receive additional amenities.

The travel specialists at Classic Vacations have really helped me understand how to customize my vacation with budget constraints. Classic bills itself as a provider of luxury travel and when I call I found out why. The specialists were able to suggest activities and hotel resorts in Hawaii that fit my family's need. BTW, the hotel photos and virtual tours on their website were also helpful.

I'm hoping for the best as we finish our vacation plans.
