Pros: Reservations, documents, ground transfers all as promised. Cons: Not always the least expensive.
GoGo World Wide Vacations has been around for about 50 years (I'm told), and offers packages that usually include airfare and accommodations to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii and the Caribbean to name a few. After recently booking an upcoming vacation to...
Pros: excellent documentation, extras,user-friendly, great value Cons: can't book directly
GoGo Worldwide Vacations is really a travel agent's agency. They document trips for agents and so consequently the general public can't just contact them and book travel.
I used GoGo really by accident. I booked a vacation on...
Pros: Previous trips have been excellent Cons: They sold us a package with no regard for our safety
I have used GoGo 3 times. The first 2 vacations were absolutely perfect. We just came back from Punta Cana and stayed at Natura Park. We had 2 rooms, one for my husband and one for my 2 children. We soon found out that the key for my children's room fit ...
Pros: received paper work in a timing matter Cons: Took additional funds from my account&put personal info& bank info in other passengers paper work.
I son was married in Jamaica. My travel agent used gogoWorldwide Travel to book the reservations. We had 60 people go on the trip. I put a deposit down of $400.00, wrote a check, then sent a check in for $1024.00, then the final payment of $730.00 was ...
Pros: Pretty packet sent with information Cons: Timeliness of Refund
Following instructions
We booked through GOGO as a favor to a friend, and then needed to cancel the hotel due to the addition of 20 people to the trip. We informed the agent to cancel the hotel, but not the airfare. She assured us that it was done. When reconfirming our international travel 2 days before the flight, we find out the airline had been cancelled as well. In calling the agent, she returned the call saying she isn't getting any return calls from GOGO. We now are having to pay twice the price to get the flights because it is last minute, and we still don't have the refund to our credit card and the hotel was cancelled 7+ weeks ago. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend these guys to anybody for anything.
Last November GoGo sold my husband and I air tickets through our travel agent for our honeymoon to a bankrupt airline. We only found out about it when we went to the airport and found that the airline no longer existed. We spent the next 24 hours stuck in the airport trying to get another flight. We have spoken to staff as well as executives at GoGo to try and get this resolved. They have assured us that they would reimburse us for the tickets. We have had probably 50 conversations with them, returned the tickets, and done everything they have asked us to do regarding this matter and we have still not received any compensation. Unless you want to risk our horrible honeymoon nightmare and pay for your vacation twice, I would not do business with this firm.
why travel agent still exists in the current world?! by travelace77 ,Jun 11 '09
Pros: none Cons: no comment
i used a travel agent since i got a gift certificate. they use GOGO to book everything.. the whole experience was horrible. im not rich, i need to save money by shopping arond online when i travel normally. I basically helped the agent to find the best deal online for my flight and hotel. It took me days talking to her and waiting for her to book everything. I ended up paying 30% more than booking online myself. Im really puzzled that why ppl still use travel agent while all the deals are online. There are websites searching for all airline and hotels for you. I can imagine it's for rich ppl who don't care about dropping a few hundreds more, but things add up. Seriously!
