We had booked our African vacation through SITA with great diappointment. They changed their deluxe and first class hotels from the 2007 brochure which I had and booked in 2007. I did my research and had upgraded some of out hotels. Other traveling companions were stuck with the first class hotels that were not first class at all. When you advertize first class accomodations they should not be motel 6!! When we arrived in Africa most of our destinations were sold off to other tour companies like Thompson. If I wanted to book with Thompson I would have, could have saved alot of money and avoided the middle man. When we did have troubles their was noone to help us.Most tour groups would see you off at the airport to make sure there werent any problems not Sita we could of taken a taxi with the same service.It was an expensive vacation which I could have done better going with a differnt company.

Pros: Greece is a fascinating place, and seeing famous ancient historical places was moving.
Cons: There were too many leaders. Hotel housekeeping was lax and cruise ship old and tired.

Just returned home from 2 week Insight Vacations tour of Greece. We visited Athens, Delphi, Olympia, Kalambaka, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, and Patmos. Each and every one was fascinating, but there were too many for the amount of time. We did have a choice about which island tours to take, but didn't know in advance which to choose. We started in Athens and traveled by coach to Delphi, Olympia, and Kalambaka and by ship to all the islands and to Turkey. The tour guide for the land tour, Nina, was wonderful. She had great knowledge of history and a passion for Greece. We had different guides for each island, with varying levels of quality. Greece was more wonderful than we had imagined
