Pros: guides provide lots of information, ability to see so much in a short time
Cons: not enough time in each area, only see the tourist areas, long bus journeys

Summary: I usually travel on my own. I travel mostly for business and usually tack a few personal days on the end of a business trip. I haven't had a real vacation in over 5 years. Working for myself, I always felt that I couldn't take the time off. Well, I ... read more

Pros: Very comfortable coach and excellent driver.
    Cons: Just about everything else.

Summary: We took a coach tour of New Zealand with AAT Kings last year. When I compare this Trafalgar tour of Scotland with that, Trafalgar comes up short on every count. To start with, they claim it is a 7 day tour. Since it starts Sunday evening and ends Friday ... read more

Pros: Wonderful to leave all the grunt work to Trafalgar.
Cons: Must give up control to an extent which some anal retentives might find painful.

Summary: As I read the previous epinions, I think that one of the most important factors in being satisfied with Trafalgar Tours or not is knowing the reality of choosing the coach tour "lifestyle" in advance.  These tours are not meant to be top of the ... read more

Pros: The Only pros for Trafalgar was the actual places they took us...the country itself..
Cons: In the above review I  wrote why I would not use Trafalgar again.

Summary: Was supposed to be a 'relaxed' tour as it spent 3 nights in each of 3 Italian cities, and I specifically said I could not handle getting up at 6 or 6:30 every day. No problem, I was told, as we didn't have to move every day. However, we still were up at ... read more
