Pros: Small group size, good itinerary Cons: Not enough free time to shop, relax, take photos. Hit or miss travel director!
The people that book your trip are very nice and answer your questions. If you have a question or problem while there or when you come back you get no response! That was our experience. It is a total hit or miss proposition when it comes to your travel ...

Travcoa isn't what it used to be! Your trip could very disappointing with Travcoa.
by travel4uguide ,Jan 23 '07
Pros: Good itinerary Cons: Poor travel directors, hit or miss on the rooms, overpriced.
I heard that Travcoa used to be good, but no longer is it reliably good. You can get the same itinerary and better service with some of the cheaper companies, and if you want luxury go elsewhere. My wife and I took two trips with Travcoa. One to Kenya and one to Italy. The travel directors were both poor, one allowed no time for pictures, was snippy, unpleasant and yelled a lot! She treated us like we were bad children, and she was the mean substitute teacher. The other was misinformed on many important issues, and was more interested in his own vacation than in ours. Most of the travelers on both trips will never use Travoca again. So based on the other review, I'd say you are taking a big chance and for that money I wouldn't risk it. Travcoa promises the best rooms. We even upgraded to better rooms for more money. It was the luck of the draw and we got some pretty so-so rooms for a lot of money.

Worth every cent

Pros: Their clout in certain areas of the world is necessary to worry-free travel. Cons: You may meet a bad apple, but that's possible in any group.
Don't travel alone! Travcoa arranges every detail. If headed to India, wait until you can have DAVID as your tourguide. As we traveled near and mid-east, we had individual tour guides for Egypt, Israel and Jordan. The luxury of having a guide all to yourself is unparalleled. Yet, there are palms to be greased, customs to know, etc. David even made sure my 121 rolls of film did not have to go thru x-ray machines on every air hop! Wow!
Our Egyptian guide deliberately misled us to an unscrupulous jeweler. When we arrived home and our jeweler of many years told us the sad truth, TRAVCOA stepped up, contacted the Egyptian company and got our refund! Can you top that. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. We strongly, heartily recommend this company.
