Pros: cheap to buy cheap to maintain . great fun , Cons: the brakes stay back and service your brakes yearly.

Pros: Easy to find. Easy to fix. Lot's of available parts. Cons: Not very stable. Kick start. Hand shifter.
Summary: Vespa's are making a comeback. If you ever need to go anywhere short distance. Or where parking is an issue. A scooter is the way to go. And if you want to go is semi style... get a Vespa. It has all the character and style a Honda Elite doesn't. ... read more

Pros: Reliable, sturdy, cheap to run & maintain, a classic. Cons: some scooterists don't regard it as a classic (yet!)
Summary: I restored my 1980 registered model p200e, completing it last autumn (2001).
It cost far more than it is probably worth, and took me 5 years as I was so insistent on making it look completely new.

Pros: the most plentiful Vespa, great power, easy to refurbish, fun to ride Cons: generally not considered the most desirable Vespa model, often referred to as a "moped"
