Pros:Some Weeds Claimed to Control it did well against & Did not harm the lawn. Cons: It still did not fair well against the Crabgrass
As the plot thickens in the saga of my backyard battles, I look to a new ally in the defense of my slowly weakening hold on my yards health. Finding little help in weed killers and crabgrass controllers, I now know that my situation will continue to ...
Pros: 33% more, Easy-to-use spray, Kills weeds. Cons: Takes more time to kill weeds than expected, Limited spray range.
I first purchased Weed-B-Gon Ready To Use Spray about 4 months ago after finding that Brush-B-Gon and RoundUp were a bit too strong for my lawn and garden; the grass or desired vegetation surrounding the treated weed would yellow, and eventually ...
Pros: Ease of use; Kills a large number of weeds Cons: Takes its time getting the job done; Slow delivery of spray
I despise yard work in every form but I also know that maintenance of a yard is critical in order to keep it presentable and avoid a much larger task at a later time. Weeds are the most common yard problem and one product that I use from time to time is ...
Pros: it works Cons: takes a while for the weeds to die
Every year in Florida our lawn gets a lot of weeds in the spring. If you don't do something about these weeds, they keep growing and will take over the entire lawn. There are many kinds of weeds, and they spread like wildfire.
Pros: Kills the least offensive weeds quickly and effectively. Cons: Kills St. Augustine grass! Fails to kill the most annoying weeds: horseherb and crabgrass.
I originally wrote this review last year SUMMER -- 2007: DAMN YOU HORSEHERB weeds, LOOK WHAT YOU DROVE ME TO!!! :( My lawn, though full of weeds, was looking mighty fine until I generously applied this product claiming to be safe for grass. Uh oh, ...
Money be gone, not the weeds by flsoberbear ,Jul 02 '05
Pros: Nice greed bottle, Foaming Head to identify where sprayed Cons: Weeds don't die, waste of funds
I spent $5.97 at Walmart on this purchase and all I have seen is that my money is gone, but the weeds are growing healthy as ever, I am on my way out to get some real weed killer and will never use a Ortho product again.
Worked fairly well on clover & daisies by tjbalistic ,Aug 14 '07
Pros: Kills broad-leaf weeds quickly, including clover and daisies. Cons: Does not kill grassy weeds (crabgrass, etc).
# Why did you buy this product?
My yard was full of clover (which attracts bees at foot level) and daisies.
# What do you love about this product?
It killed the clover and daisies quickly. I did not have to premix anything.
# What do you hate?
- Product must be used when weeds are actively growing. I waited until the morning after a good rain.
- The plastic flow control is hard to work with. I had a hard time turning it OFF. Plan your walking route before starting.
- It does NOT kill grassy weeds like crabgrass. It killed off all the clover, which just made room for the crabgrass. Plan on using some sort of crabgrass killer a couple weeks after you spray.
