I am looking at this bike mostly from a design point of view. This is a well considered design with some great detailing. The distinctive angles and flow around the body make it look like it is actually going somewhere. I feel you can tell a good design...

This is a great little bike, I have had mine for three months and also had it totally De-restricted. I use it for getting around in London and got the bike at a very decent price.

It easily compares to my SR50 that sadly got killed at a roundabout due to some wally in a car. That said this bike Just De-restricted with no modifications touches 50mph on a flat road.

I plan to have it fitted with a racing exhaust and set of rollers which should easily add 15-20mph to the top speed .

Although in all honesty the bike does not need it. I have the silver model, and people have asked me questions about the bike and commented on how nice it looks. It will still go like a pocket rocket with a passenger.

I would recommend anyone to buy one if they have the chance.

this scooter is my second scooter purchase i have had a speed fight by peugeot, and the area 51 wipes the floor with it in so many ways! like so many have said the fuel tank is huge for a scooter, but i would like to comment mostly on performance "AMAZING" THE ONLY WORD NEEDED!!!! for a 50cc reaching speeds on mine of 74mph is very good i think...it is de-restricted of course with a race pipe and new rollers..has never ever let me down yet (touch wood) and is a comfort and joy to ride...i would recomend this scooter to anyone first time or to experienced riders...this is a great bit of aprillia engineering!!!
