Pros: It's a Harley Cons: It's a Harley
Summary: From March 1982 to May of 1984 I bought and sold three Harleys. My last one was a 1984 FXST Softail, first year of the Evolution engine. I saw this motorcycle in a magazine and had to have it. A week later I took delivery of a shiny black, chromed, ... read more

Pros: Incredibly powerful, looks and feels strong, optional security system. Cons: Stock exhaust system is too quiet. Overpriced accessories. No helmet lock.

Pros: smooth ride Cons: none
Summary: The Softail Standard is new this year, and it’s everything one of the show-stopping factory customs should be. Only with the styling kept simple. At its heart is an eighty cubic inch Evolution engine, silver powder coated and filled with both visual and ... read more

Pros: Low C.G. and Gob's of Torque Cons: Everybody want's to steal it
Summary: Hey, I bought that machine when gas was scarce and motorcycle's were cheap. I gave $4800 for it brand new in 1979. It was black and chrome with a rake about it that sat you 27" off of the ground. When you pulled up to a stop sign and put your feet ... read more
