Pros: Good power Good suspension low noise Cons: No high end harder to maintain then a dual sport
Summary: The KDX 200 is a great machine. My family recently got one for my dad. Originally my dad was riding a KLR 250, a dual sport. My dad found this bike unwieldy in the mud and very low in power. He couldn't keep up with my brother and me when we where on ... read more

Pros: Great all round power band. Great handling and an ultra reliable engine. Cons: Soft front end, and no steel braiding on brake lines (OZ only).
Summary: Yep! Its true - Australia had discontinued the KDX, I'm lucky to have had the chance to get one. People reading this who live elsewhere be warned, they are going to stop producing them period; it’s a matter of when. Its a great all round trail bike, ... read more

Pros: value, reliability, abiity to grow with rider skill, cult-like following Cons: no skid plate, suspension too soft
Summary: The KDX is a bike that has not been changed too dramatically over the years except to just keep up with newer styles. The engine is rock solid and despite being a 2-stroke is quite reliable and has very decent low end torque to ride even the slowest ... read more

Pros: great trail bike; good power band; many optional performance mods available Cons: restrictive airbox
Summary: The "H" series Kawasaki KDX 200 has been around since 1995 with no major changes. The KDX 200 is probably the best 2-stroke trail bike ever built. While some of the new 4-stroke enduros are excellent on the trails, the KDX is quite a bit cheaper and ... read more

Summary:
My cousin just got a used 1989 Kawasaki KDX200. One day he came out to ride with me, and let me ride his bike for quite some time while he rode mine. I love this bike! It may be an 89', but it ran like new. The plastics, brakes, suspension, and ... read more
