Pros: Throttle Response, Comfort, Power, Agility, Ergos, Engine, Brakes Cons: Suspension
Summary: Well... it's 2005 and my 2000 ZX-6R is still running. I've ridden, almost literally, every other sport bike in the past 5 years. None of them compares to this one. They say, "every rose has it's thorn", right? Not this one. R6 has the short wheel-base ... read more

Summary: I bought this bike about 4 months ago. This was my second bike and I stepped up to it after riding a 2001 ninja 250 for about a year. This bike screams. I have had so much fun on this bike. When I went to test drive it I couldn't stop smiling and I ... read more

Pros: Fast and super responsive throttle, excellent brakes, handles well Cons: No fuel indicator or dummy light, paint on rims is peeling
Summary: This happened to be my first bike. Quite a step up from the toy I learned on. This beast is anything but a toy. There lies a demon under the hood of this machine. With this motorcycle's light weight, 16 valve 4cyl. DOHC 600cc engine, and flashy color ... read more

Pros: looks, price, comfort, speed, engine Cons: city riding, console
Summary: I was looking for my second bike. I had had a 250 Ninja last season and wanted something I would want to keep for a few years. I looked on ebay and picked out a few bikes but then came across an 02 leftover RED zx6r at my fovorite shop in Hamburg, NJ ... read more

Pros: Comfortable riding position. Great Power. Cons: Not a great bike for two up riding. Difficult to wheelie :(
Summary: When I decided to purchase my first sport bike, I researched the alternatives for quite some time and I finally decided on the ZX-6R. A few months later, I couldn't be happier. I decided to go with a 600cc machine because I was an inexperienced rider, ... read more

Pros: Good running motor. Good value for the price Cons: Older look won't attract attention like a GSX-R, but maybe this is a good thing
Summary: NOTE: This review is for a 1986 Kawasaki Ninja 600R not
a 2000 ZX-6R. Epinions doesn't have a place to write a review for this bike, so I'm making my own.
I had been looking to get into motorcycle riding for two years. The opportunity ... read more

Pros: Best of both worlds: Comfortable and FAST! Great for around-town riding. Cons: Feels very light at higher speeds. No fuel gauge.
Summary: The 2000 ZX-6R is a nice cross between the speed, power and handling of a ZX-7R and the comfort and rider position of the ZX-6 or ZX-11. For someone who doesn't need to have the fastest bike on the street, the ZX-6R is a smart choice. Don't get me ... read more

Pros: Speed, Looks, Comfort for Commuting, Great Torque for Passing Power, Extremely Stable. Cons: No Fuel Gauge of any kind. No good color selection for CA.
Summary: This is an excellent bike. Kawasaki really fixed up the 2000 model so I wouldn't recommend getting a bike older than the 2000's. 2000 is about when the Ninja began becoming serious competition against the Gixxer's (Suzuki GSX), Yamaha R6's, and the ... read more

Summary: I have put about 550 miles on my green 01 ZX-6R beast in about a week and a half. After she hit the 500 mark, I got her up to redline to see what she could do. I know I am suppose to wait until 1k, but what's a couple of times going to hurt. For a 600, ... read more

Pros: Comfortable ride. Lightweight. Affordable bike for it's speed! Cons: Well, I can't think of any!
Summary: I bought this bike as a starter. Yes, I purchased a 600 as my first bike. But wait...I have been riding ATV's for quiet some time now, so I was experienced to a point. Anyway, it was the RIGHT choice. I knew I'd outgrow a 400 really fast...and the ... read more

Pros: Best in class comfort and dollar value. Cons: No fuel injection for the new millenium.
Summary: For the title of "best overall" among the latest breed of 600cc sportbikes, it would be close between the new 2001 Honda CBR600F4i and Kawasaki ZX-6R. The latter gets my vote. Both provide optimum comfort on the street due to their less aggressive, ... read more
