Pros: Handles well, great acceleration, good instrumentation, high mount speedometer, tachometer, center kickstand, inexpensive Cons: Poor support from dealer on accessories,, Poor availability of aftermarket parts, small gas tank
The first time I saw a Vulcan 750 in the new motorcycle showroom, I thought what is that old motorcycle doing in here? After swinging my 6'3" frame over the sweet looking modern machines, I figured it out. The 750 was a machine made for a man, not a ...

Pros: Cant think of anything ...... Cons: Pile of low quality junk.
My new bike seems to spend more time in the shop than on the road ( around 7 weeks out of 12 so far ) ...and as for Kawasaki ....... they may keep fixing (in their own good time) ..... but they don’t really care or accept responsibility for how long it...

Pros: Sun in the hair...comfort...nicely built..built to last... Cons: No complaint
I have always owned a motorcycle. Motorcycles are the cheapest means of transportation. I used one when I was in high school. I kept my Yamaha until after I secured a good job. Then I bought another bike. This time, it was a Kawasaki. I have...

Pros: Does a wide variety of things very well Cons: Is looked upon with "disdain" by most in the "cruiser crowd"
I bought my 02 Vulcan in Dec. 01 as a pre-retirement gift to myself on the advice on my son. He told me that the bike had just about everything that I had wished for on a cruiser. How right he was! All one really needed to add was a windshield and a ...

Pros: reliability, technology, power, handling Cons: seat, lack of after market parts
This is my first motorcycle and I absolutely love it. The seat (or maybe my butt) could use some work, my backside gets numb after more than an hour on the saddle. I'm very happy with all the technology, shaft drive, fuel guage, tach, hydraulically...

Pros: Liquid cooling, center stand, instrumentation, comfort & power. Cons: Aside from some now solved technical issues, NONE!
I spent approximately 4 years looking at motorcycle magazines checking out the specs, technology and the general styling of bikes. I originally wanted something around 900 - 1000 cc but could not find a bike with all the goodies that I wanted. Then I...

OLD STYLE MUSCLE
by opusnbilldogs ,Apr 05 '04
Pros: POWER !!faster than most 1500's (eats 800's for lunch) Cons: no such thing as after market parts/Accessories!!!
I bought this bike 3 years ago and have had "0" problems with it other than the lack of after market parts, the seat is not good for long trips so look at mustang or Corbin I got the Corbin (looked better in my opinion).
The bike is rock solid and dependable I wont hesitate to ride across the country on the thing, and trust me I ride far and hard the thing I like the most about the bike is the power and the second most liked thing about it is the fact that it is not you're typical cookie cutter Harley want to be! Be warned this bike must be hated by the aftermarket company's hate it other than seats and windshields you pretty much got to make the things you want cause their just isnt much out their for it!

1990 Vulcan 750 - Awesome!!!
by bulldog485 ,May 01 '04
Pros: Awesome power, comfortable riding position, great dependable bike. Cons: A little cramped with two up.
I purchased my 1990 Vulcan 750 in 1995 used. Over the past nine years, I have been updated it and working on it. I love this bike!!! I have never had a more dependable motorcycle and one that is as much fun to work on as this one... The common complaint here is that there is a lack of bolt on accessories. This is true, but who wants your bike to look like everyone elses? Check out http://www.breyn.com/vn750 and see for yourself.

'99 Vulcan w/custom pipes_"Tupal"
by tupal ,Nov 20 '08
Pros: Great engine, shaft-driven, DOHC, liquid cooled. Cons: Rear drum, could use extra gear for hwy.
I just ended up w/mine after trading my project car for it! Of course it's got some miles, 20k, it's been very well taken care of, and I'm totally in love***! The custom pipes really give her the sound and extra hp she deserves. Some people might not like the way it resembles a sportster, I, myself think it was an awsome idea to utilize the very same principles that made the sportster appealing and built on them. I would have to say they eliminated alot of the problems harleys are known for, not to disrespect anyone, but for the money, w/out continuously having to take down and work on it, the motorcycle clearly is one of the best! I've been riding over 35 years, raced motocross 7yrs. and I know a good bike when they make one. Kawasaki still excites the soul after all these years! I will definitely keep riding kawasakis as long as they keep producing quality machines~Charles~ North Carolina
