Pros: great suspension and power for younger riders. Cons: not a big difference compared to the TT-R 125L.
I've been riding for about a year now and I was using a very small bike (an XR 80). When my dad came home with the TT-R 125 I was ecstatic. The first thing I did was jump on it fire it up and burn rubber. I loved how it had a good amount of power and...
I started rideing on a (2002) Kawasaki KLX125 and it was a ok bike and then i went and bought a 2001 TTR125. I am 19 and 5'9" and about 135pounds. This bike has very good power for its size and i feel has more bang then the klx125. I have some small maintnance that needs to be done but thats it. Overall i love this bike.
Pros: Good looks
Fun to mud run with Cons: Doesent like the mud
the grips make my hands black
I think that my TTR 125 has lived up to its purpose. I wanted to get a bike and really , i wont lie, i wanted a Handa CRF 50. My dad thought that it might be to small. we looked over into the Yamaha section at State 8. I looked at the 125 and i pretty much fell in love. From then on we got it and it was a little bit used but mostly good. We got it home and i dumped it about fifty times. I got better as the days went on. That was a year ago, now im a good rider and i do not dump it anymore.
