Pros: Lightweight 4x4, and handling Cons: No stock 12 volt outlet
I have had this machine for over a year now and it has been ridden hard. I ride with a wide variety of machines and still have not found one that meets my middle of the road demands. It is not the big powerhouse(a 660 on this would be nice)but it has...
Pros: Great hauling power, tears up the trails, smooth ride
Cons: not the fastest wheeler out there
This four wheeler really caught my eye and still does. Not only does this machine have the sleek look of a racer but it is a hauling machine and has went through any mud pit or trail I have put it up against. I have used it to pull trailers and have never ...
Pros: Lightweight, Suspension, 4x4 Cons: Needs a speedometer
Like many of Yamaha's other ATV's, this one is great. I have been everywhere from rock crawling, to the sand dunes, to snow, to mud, and the average trail riding. I was kinda worried when I bought it because it did not have a low range. But I haven't...
Pros: Fast, Agile, easy to drive, A Rocket in the trails Cons: Lower ground clearance, Geared For speed not pulling
I've read lots of reviews so far on the wolverine and Most of them are from people who don't own one. Myself and 4 of my best friends each have a wolverine. Seeing larger machines out there doesn't change my mind that i bought exactly the right...
Pros: Handles excellent, very comfortable ride , good throttle response, endless fun Cons: none
Nice body style. very comfortable seat with room for your woman on back. looks very cool. I was undecided between the Honda rancher 350 and the wolverine. Yamaha treated me much better than 2 Honda dealers so I went with the Yamaha. I was very happy with...
My brother in law bought the wolverine when i bought my yamaha grizzly. It is basically a 4x4 yamaha warrior, except it has shaft drive, different carburator, different gear box and a automatic clutch.
The wolverine is more comfortable then the...
Pros: Good Power, Good Suspension Cons: Wheel's,Tires,Air Box Design
MOTOR & TRANNY-The Wolverine has the same basic air cooled 350cc power plant as Yamaha's Warrior. The motor never seems to slow or bog and has no problem with 2nd gear pullouts. The quad will climb any hill you put it in front of. With regular oil...
Pros: Everything Cons: It does not have a stove......
My dad bought this Atv to do some trail riding. The wolverine is a really nice atv.The best things about this atv is the full time four wheel drive, that keeps up with all of the bigger 4x4 models. It has reverse which is really nice for trail riding, and is...
Pros: 4WD,suspension travel, nearby dealers Cons: It's a Yamaha ie: It will break, sometime, usually at the worst time!
After you've ridden a few wheelers they all seen to blend in a bit. But not this Wolverine. The new model 2001 Wolverine is in the top of it's class again. I'm not a big fan of Yamaha, usually a critic. However this machine is a bit different. It has a...
Pros: speed, able to do sport activities, not automatic Cons: 4WD doesn't work well with this machine, can't handle mud, breaks easily
I have seen this machine in action more times than i can remember. And i must say that after veiwing what this machine can handle i wasn't impressed at all. Every mud hole the wolverine went into didn't come out. It has true 4WD but doesn't go good...
Pros: 4x4, light, sporty, reliable, easy to work on, maneuverable Cons: can't think of any!
I got my wolverine for dirt cheap and always had chain drive 2X4 quads and bikes and wasn't sure if this was going to be much fun riding this machine since it's a 4x4, but wow! What a machine! This thing handles great, it's fast, it's sporty, it's a manual (with the exception of the clutch) it's got a proven engine, isn't very heavy for a 4x4, it's one of a kind! I'm so happy with it.
This machine is unlike any other 4x4 on the market. It's got everything and more you can ask for if you like to play in the mud, as well as play on the dirt and race around. I'm very happy with my wolverine, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a fun machine with 4x4. The 350cc engine sounds very underpowered, and I thought it was, but WOW, it puts out plenty of power, it gets up and GOES!
Pros: Well-balanced weight, agile, good differential front & rear, easy maintenance. Cons: You may look into better shocks. Stock ones are only fair, my opinion.
I recently bought a used 2000 Wolverine 350 4x4. I had no doubts from other reviews and from seeing others riding Wolverines on the trails that this is a machine I would grab up if I saw a good one for sale.
You just have to love the low range power this machine has, along with the feeling that you're riding a sporty quad once you get going good in 3rd gear! It's no fast racer, but it is fast for a 350. Plus, there's plenty of options for modifications.
I haven't got stuck in mud yet, and that's not for lack of trying. Be sure to get CV Joint protectors!
