Pros: Fully based on motoGP technology, the 600rr is on uncharted 600 territory! Cons: Slightly pricier than most 600's, but the performance/fogivingness are 100% worth it!
It has been an absolutely REMARKABLE year in 600cc motorcycles! For the past few years, so much R&D has been pumped into the 600 programs by just about every manufacturer, it's no wonder 600cc AMA racing has been absolutely the most exciting and...

Pros: Looks Great, drives great, is a lot of fun! Cons: Rear set small, front seat uncomfortable, wrist hurt
This is my first bike. At first I was definitley intimidated by the 600RR raw power. I just took the throttle back a teeny bit in the dealer's parking lot and the engine roared/screamed real hard. Well, make no mistake about it, this IS a racing bike ...

CBR600RR - Almost Perfect
by rookierr ,May 22 '04
Pros: This bike is a sick fast, excellent handling track bike with lights. Cons: Defective batteries on 03 and 04 models. Lack of steering damper. Hard Seat.
This bike is fantastic although Honda seems to have a defective battery issue on both the 03's and 04's. However, most dealers will test and replace the battery under warranty. If I could ask for other improvements, I would request Honda's electronic steering dampening and a seat that does not feel like your sitting on a piece of plywood. Although fixable, Honda could have built those into the production model and likely saved purchasers half the cost of aftermarket parts.
I purchased this bike instead of a GSXR, R6 and ZX-6 due to Honda's reputation for designing and building race caliber bikes for street use. I have not been disappointed.
The responsiveness and handling are incredible.

2004 CBR600RR
by mu_shu_pork ,Apr 21 '04
Pros: Excellent fit and finish, and handles like a dream. Cons: Sticky gears and firm seat
I purchased my 04 blue CBR600RR just last week. I fell in love with the bike the first time I sat on it at the dealership. The fit and finish is top notch, but the real gem is the handling of this baby - it rocks! The mass of the bike is all in the center, this makes the bike balances like a perfectly balanced scale. Don't let the 599cc only engine fool you, this baby hauls (0-60 in about 2.9 sec). I am a short rider measuring in at 5'7", but with my thick-sole boots, I managed to touch the ground with confidence. So, for those vertically challenged riders, go for it! I've put about 80 miles on it in 3 days, but I am enjoying every moment of it. Yes, it's pricey, but the smile it puts on my face everytime I ride it is worth every penny I spent. Take my advice, this is the sports bike you are looking for.
