Pros: Air cooled simplicity, 72mpg, lightweight, smooth-shifting light pull clutch
Cons: a bit too small for 6 footers, soft suspension

Summary: I have owned 30 motorcycles or more over my 34 years of life so I have a lot to compare with. The super sherpa or KL250 is a lightweight 270ish lb motorcycle that has a 250cc air cooled motor, and is of the dual-sport variety (basically a street legal ... read more

Pros: Good performance and handling for a 250 dual purpose bike.
Cons: Not too much to complain about

Summary: Good all round dual purpose bike best suited to suburban streets rather than any highway work as overall gearing a bit low and steering very light approaching 100kph. Engine performance seems pretty good for the size and capable enough for most

Pros: the price is great for the return
Cons: its only a 250-sometimes not enough for the road

Cons: Not really a street or dirt bike. It is a nice mix.

Summary: Purchased a 2003 Kawasaki Sherpa with 150 miles on the odometer from my local dealer. The bike is lighter than any other dual purpose motorcycle in its class and is aircooled. The watercooled KLR 250 has watercooling which means a big radiator on the

Pros: Comfy, nice low end, balanced, street legal.
Cons: requires tools to clean the air filter.

Summary: I like this bike. What I find I like the best is that it's a nice light bike with low end grunt. I wanted a bike I can ride slow as I have a son on a ttr-90. The bike handles well and is balanced nicely. Front & rear disk brakes, air cooled, street legal,
