Pros: AWD, looks, luxury options, size Cons: MPG, ugly info screen, a little sluggish going uphill The Bottom Line: Great car for the money!!! Luxury at a low price!!
I bought a used 2003 Murano in October of 2007. It has been several months but I am very happy with it. Please keep in mind that used cars can vary but my experience has been . . . I got this car for under $18,000 and it is fully loaded save for the ...

Pros: Handles well, looks great, comfortable and fun ride. Cons: Disappointing fuel economy, interior finish feels cheap. The Bottom Line: Strongly recommended car-based SUV. Handles very well, good features for price.
I've owned mine since it was purchased new in August, 2003 and now have 40,000 miles on it. I've had no mechanical problems whatsoever. The longest it spent in service was for several recall items. The two notable ones were engine mounts and a shield ...

Pros: looks great, drives wonderful Cons: no 3rd row option The Bottom Line: My husband and I fight over who gets to take the Murano. We both really enjoy the ride and the styling and couldn't ask for more!
I wanted this auto since introduced in 2003 and bought it used in 1-2007. It is everything that I thought it was and more. Everytime I think "They should have ..", I look in the owners manual and they already though of it. I wanted the back up ...

The Bottom Line: Great Suv... would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great all around urban sport utility.
Wow... this thing has been great. We bought our loaded blue 2003 Murano in January of 2004. After 2 years of ownership, we have not had much bad to say about this vehicle. We got leather seats, power everything, sunroof, etc. We take a lot of road ...

Pros: Great styling, great MPG, Great acceleration, good ground clearance Cons: Rear Cup Holder in a bad location. The Bottom Line: If your looking for a roomy, great handling, quick accelerating vehicle, with great reliablility, look no further then the Nissan Murano.
By far the best car I have ever owned. A little history about my last cars: I have owned new: a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am, 1997 Nissan Altima, 2000 Nissan Quest, and now a 2003 Nissan Murano. Yes, I made the jump to Nissan ever since my American car took ...

Pros: perfect size, great styling, extremely practical, fun to drive Cons: gas mileage could be better, it's also a bit pricey compared to the competition. The Bottom Line: You can't go wrong with this vehicle. It is beautiful, roomy, reliable, drives nice, has all the creature comforts that anyone could ask for.
I absolutely loved my Murano. I bought it when it was exactly 1 year old with 24,000 miles on it and saved $10,000 off MSRP. Mine had just about every bell and whistle you could get on a Murano: premium sound, leather, satellite navigation, AWD, ABS, ...

Pros: Looks, speed, guy magnet, spaciousness Cons: Construction, service personnel honesty The Bottom Line: Learn the lesson about buying a new model in the first year of production and wait until you hear about the flaws before taking an expensive and regretful plunge.
A beauty until you spend time in it and learn of the many little flaws that the dealers won't acknowledge. The CVT is only great once you have reached cruising speed and wish to goose it a little - fast takeoffs from a stopped position tend to pull to ...

Pros: Attractive, gets 20 miles to the gallon, and has a slew of features. Cons: Wipers clog, can't clear hood down. Doorlocking nightmare. Windows go down on own. CVT problems. The Bottom Line: Avoid it. Nissan Murano has problems and Nissan is not dealing straight up with those consumers that get troubled ones.
On the Friday 11/29/03 I leased a new Nissan Murano from Fahlhaber Nissan. It has been a royal pain. Almost immediately the windows started letting themselves down when I was not around. My salesman and then the service manager told me the Murano did ...

Pros: Great Engine, Plenty of room for the dog, Cons: Quality Issues, Rattles & Squeaks, Torque Steer, CVT, MPG not as stated The Bottom Line: Way too many issues...I wish I could have read this review before I bought mine! It would have saved me a lot of time & money.
I purchased this car back back in May. Having owned several other Nissan vehicle, I didn't think I had to worry about quality issues. Boy was I wrong! This has been the most horrible ownership experience I have EVER had. Here are some of the things ...

Pros: Comfort, ride, handling, stereo, style, power Cons: poor rear visibility, overly complicated radio/climate controls The Bottom Line: Yes. If style and practicality are important, but MPG isn't, give this ride a look.
I purchased the Murano SL AWD in April when it had been on the market for about 6 months. I wanted a premium copper 2WD for better mpg but they could not find one so I didn't pay extra for the AWD. It's better that way because I already used it in the ...

Pros: Engine is fast, Good looks, Sound system, Roominess, and Interior design features. Cons: Materials & Workmanship, CVT, Torque Steering, Comfort, and Price. The Bottom Line: For the money, I would not recommend this vehicle.
I bought my Murano new this past April in CT. I've owned many cars in my life from sporty to utility. This has been one of the worst experiences. But to put it in perspective. If I had paid about $14,999 for this vehicle, it would be fantastic!!! If I ...

Pros: Looks great, lots of room Cons: Poor fuel economy, unreliable, overpriced, CVT is annoying, steering pulls, RATTLES The Bottom Line: AVOID THIS VEHICLE. It looks great but it is only skin deep.
I purchased my 2003 Murano SL AWD in Tampa, FL at Ferman Nissan. I did not get a good deal. The vehicle had 713 miles on it when I took it home. It also had a large scratch on the steering wheel which has not been fixed (2 months later) although they ...
