Pros: power, towing, refinement Cons: few powertrain choices, no eight-foot bed The Bottom Line: The 2004 Nissan Titan bursts on the scene, not quite already a legend - but close.
"You might be a Texan," an old joke would have it, "If you've ever brought a new truck home and found out it doesn't fit in your garage." That's a joke that certainly predates the Ford Excursion. Indeed, citizens of the Lone Star State will forever ...

Pros: Interior space, comfort, and storage. Utili-track cargo bed system. Cons: First year teething pains, and it's "appetite" for petroleum. No surprise there.... The Bottom Line: I believe the 2005 or newer Titan is one of the best in it's class of trucks, and outguns rivals Tundra, Chevy, Ford, and Dodge full-size trucks.
I purchased my 2004 Nissan Titan, (it's first year of production) in Sept. 2004. Being a first year model, I opted for the extended warranty, which is the second thing I don't typically do: buy a first production year model, and purchase extended ...

Pros: interior space Cons: Brakes, poor corrosion protection
I have gone thru 2 sets of front rotors in under 50K miles. No towing just driving to work and back. Service shop said this is normal, then stated they are not big enough. WHY?????? Did they not test these? Also, the underbody of this truck is rusting away. I will buy a domestic truck next time.

Pros: The goods, engine, interior room, ride and look Cons: Brakes, tires, Dash, Seat twist, Paint is thin
Bought truck in March of 05. Brakes SUCK and after four rotor and brake sets my brakes work fine at 17000 miles. The paint is thin. The dash is cheap. The Goodyear tires suck i went through two sets in 52000 miles Buy the Bridgestone Revo tires they rock. Never buy a first year model. The goods, engine, interior room, ride and look. I wish i would have waited a year or two. Paid 28900.00 for a very nicely loaded CC SE.

Pros: ENGINE,SMOOTH RIDE,BUILD QUALITY,PRICE Cons: Navigation needs to be an option on all models
This Truck Rocks!! Bought this truck new Dec. 2004 SE 4x4 Off-road Package with Rockford Fosgate 350 Watt Stereo. Awesome drive by wire throttle and unbelievable torque! Bit of shimmy from the brakes but recalled and repaired under warranty. Actually better beefier brakes than stock!!
Nissan has made the best full size truck out there beating Chevy and Ford etc. With 305 HP and 379lbs.ft of torque you can go anywhere. The electronic 4 wheel drive works seemless and tackles any road. The ground clearance gets this truck over obstacles with ease. Its a sure bet to buy this truck and I love it.

Pros: Power, Size, Utility Bed design Cons: Brakes Brakes Brakes!
Love my Titan. But the brakes have had one issue after another. Just check the NHTSA website or Consumer Reports, Or any of the Titan forums for brake issues. The brakes have many problems. My brakes occasionally stop working without any warning. My dealer doesnt know what the problem is and Nissan corporate has said they cannot help me.

Pros: tow capacity, acceleration Cons: gas, couple of interior defects
has worked well for me, have a 2 wheel drive and it handles towing full size 7500 lbs trailer very well. Went through the brakes several times, new warranty radio. Other than that I really like it. Consumer reports gave it a poor rating for the drive train, but mine has run very well.
