Pros: Has power, handling, and looks that kill for barely more $$$ than a 600. Cons: Lurchy FI off idle, can be cramped, limited adjustability of levers.
I've had my bike since September of '04, and I've held off on a review in order to get more seat time, especially since the weather has been pretty chilly and I've put only 1700 miles on the bike so far. I bought the GSXR after I installed an ...
Pros: The best motorcycle I have owned in 39 years of riding. Cons: None.
I would like to update my original review on this machine. I have almost 20,000 kilometers in 13 months of ownership on this motorcycle. This motorcycle has been superb! It has not been back for a warranty issue. I have only had to do regular ...
Pros: Awesome bike...great handling...amazing low end! Cons: Painful on the gonads after 1-2 hours of steady riding!
I just bought this bike as a new non-current model and absolutely love it. I had a 6R before this and thought that it was pretty fast until I started riding this one. Sometimes my friends let me ride their 600's which and the difference is tremendous. ...
This has got to be the sweetest bike i've ridden yet. I just bought my GSX-R750 and already it has impressed me beyond my imagination. First of all it handles like a dream. It's super quick. When i'm doing 80mph, I can twist the throttle and it takes off quicker than a hooker on a bust! It's also comfortable. Most sportbike seats i've encountered get a little old after a few miles. This one has a different design than the earlier models and lets you stay on the bike longer. Great looks as well. I guess the only bad thing about Suzuki is the lack of imagination when it comes to colors. Mine is blue and white but still turns the cuties heads. Good fuel mileage. I fill up about every 170 miles or so. This is sure to keep you on the road longer. This bike gets alot of attention. If you're looking for an affordable, quick eye catcher, then this is your bike. Don't sit around and let it drive past you.
Pros: A+ Razor handling. A+ engine/midrange power. 600 killer. Make 1000's nervous. Cons: Not so much leg room for those over 6 ft. tall.
This thing has been called a nuclear powered 600 by the motorcycle press. Boy were they right. I love my 750. It's got the handling and weight of the 600 with that extra kick a speedfreak needs. The 1000 is really too much for the street, unless you have a death wish and/or no fear of incarceration. This thing handles like a razor and its dead stable at any speed. Put some good tires on it like Metzelers or Pirellis and you'll be unstoppable at the track. This bike is NOT for beginners. Get the 600 instead...it's just as much fun...I've ridden both so I know. The 600 is a little bit more agile actually, since it has less reciprocating mass in the engine, thus less spinning/inertia to deal w/ when cornering. Anyway, if you're looking for a second bike after riding a 600, YOU WILL LOVE THIS BIKE. It has midrange that a 600 can't touch. You will not regret buying this motorcycle, unless you're one of those guys who can't bear NOT to have a 1000 cause all your buddies do. Forget them. In the twisties and corners you will ride past them.
