Pros: Fast, comfortable, cool, room for stuff, it actually tows more than some trucks. Cons: Fragile exterior, not a good winter car. The factory tires won't last 10000 miles. The Bottom Line: I recommend buy it if you never see snow
I bought my Magnum brand new in January 05, I had tested the STX model and thought it was more than adequate but opted for the Hemi because I believed it would retain it's value better and also I loved the brakes, wheels, and comparable gas mileage in ... read more

As an recent owner of a 2005 RT AWD, I am very pleased with this vehicle. I was looking for something that could carry gear, cargo and people, but did not want a Minivan or an SUV. I was really looking at trucks and did not buy one. The Magnum came to ... read more

Pros: Tough looking, fast, and sure footed. Cons: - Cruise controls are very awkward.
- Rear outer seat belts non-locking (for baby seats). The Bottom Line: If you needs the room of an SUV with the horsepower and performance of a sports car...this is your only option.
I have been looking a this car since it was first released in the Spring of '04. I had a Ford Explorer Sport and a Mustang GT Convertible that I wanted to get rid of for a 4-door car. I had originally been looking at SUVs and pickups, but when I saw ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 20 Recommended: No
Pros: Looks different, comfortable seats, decent space. Cons: Quality concerns, horrible dash, inefficient space usage, pricey for what you get. The Bottom Line: The definition of style over substance. If you have to, get the SXT or better. Otherwise, you'd have to really like the look to get one.
Ah, the joys of company cars. Currently in a 2004 Altima that I'm loving, the time is coming where I'll be able to pick a new car for work. The contenders? The aforementioned Altima S-Extra (this time a 2005), the Ford Five Hundred SE, the Ford Escape ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 50 Recommended: Yes
Pros: Muscle-car thrust from R/T, distinctive styling and character, bank-vault solidity, composed chassis. Cons: Cheap interior plastics, suspension too soft, SXT's V6 out of character. The Bottom Line: What's not to like about a hot-rod wagon with a Benz chassis and a Hemi V8? If you like the looks, its road manners certainly won't turn you off.
My Experience If you've been following the automotive market lately, then you know that one of the newest trends is the return of the station wagon. You wouldn't know it from the carmakers' marketing materials, of course--most new wagons are ... read more

Pros: Interesting looking people and stuff hauler. Distinctive, in your face styling. Cons: DaimlerChrysler skimped on the interior plastics - kit car quality. The Bottom Line: Excellent car for a rental. Plenty of space to haul your stuff. Great alternative to a mini-van.
This car is a rental from Enterprise. It's the base model, with just 3 options: Smoker's Group, Electronic Stability Program, and Power Driver's Seat. The sticker was $23,068 - the fleet discount brought the price down to $19,629. The color is Magnesium. ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 40 Recommended: Yes
Pros: Styling, power, comfort, ride quality, gas mileage, gawk factor Cons: Poor side/rear view, hard seats, cheesy plastic trim, only seats four adults comfortably, headrests The Bottom Line: Buy this car if you want a future collectible/classic car and don't care about the poor side & rear view. Otherwise, buy something else you can actually see out of.
I rented a white Magnum SE with the 2.7 liter V6 from A***o Rent-A-Car for 16 days and put 3,000 miles on the car with my family of four, driving from Washington-Dulles airport to Niagara Falls, then to Asheville, NC; Richmond, VA and back to Dulles. Let ... read more

Author's Product Rating: 30 Recommended: Yes
Pros: Value for the size and power; cool looks; tight as a vault; safety features Cons: A few early production quality issues; lackluster transmission; rental meat The Bottom Line: It's a great value with lots of bang for the buck. Quality is good, but not great. If you like driving something different this is it.
Pros: This review is for the SXT model only. I have about 1100 miles on mine now and this is my first review/update. What I like so far: 1) good value for such a big, roomy car with 250hp; I paid $24,500 for the SXT with sunroof, but no leather, 2) lots ... read more

I love my 2005 Dodge Magnum. I purchased the inferno-red SXT model in mid-May 2004 with the following options: sunroof, 6-disc CD, power-adjustable leather trimmed heated seats, and power adjustable pedals. As of this review Ive driven over 4000 ... read more
