Pros: Fantastic people mover.  Quiet transmission.  Sleek contemporary design.
Cons: Oddly designed panels underneath that protect the gas tank.  Brakes squeal when reversing.
The Bottom Line: A fantastic Japanese made vehicle that looks great, drives well and continues to be the most reliable Japanese vehicle that I have ever owned.

After 3 years with my 2005 Nissan Murano SE, I continue to be excited and impressed by the reliability and design of this vehicle.  The CVT transmission is seamless and quiet.  The engine ticks like a watch and the interior size continues to ... read more

Pros: Smooth drive, powerful brakes. Interior is ample and it accommodates well up to 5 ppl.
Cons: Sound system not bright (even it's a bose) Had to put some extra power.
The Bottom Line: As the 2009 line change is not a dramatic shift from the previous model, any 2005-2008 model is a good buy.

It was love at first sight. The Murano's distinguished lines, size and power always made my wife and I to turn our heads whenever we came across one of those vehicles, ever since the 2003 original model. When our savings and my new job as bank executive ... read more

The Bottom Line: Although it has a few faults, the Murano provides a lot of bang for the buck, and is a sure winner in this price segment.
