Pros: Sheer thrust, excellent chassis, supportive seats Cons: Highway ride quality, tire roar, heavy clutch, steering just okay, not much to look at The Bottom Line: Highly recommended as a second, limited use car, but not as a daily driver. Very loud, very busy ride. Different tires might help.
Ive driven the Subaru WRX a few times, but never the full strength STi version. Dealers no doubt were deluged by people seeking test drives, and were loathe to allow one unless they felt you were highly likely to buy the car. I dont pretend to ...

Pros: Lots of torque across the entire power band, awesome handling, functional all-wheel drive. Cons: Wing & hoodscoop are nasty, interior is cheap, overall look is not impressive. The Bottom Line: This is one helluva fast car that handles like crazy, even in winter conditions. Don't buy this car if you want comfort, luxury, or styling though.
Ok, so this is one of those cars you either love or hate. Before you read this, let me just give you my caveat: while I love cars, and I can act like I know all there is to know about cars, I'm not going to do that. I'm simply going to give you my ...

Pros: Fun, fast, quick, handles well, excellent brakes, good visibility, low repair costs, fun to drive. Cons: Ugly exterior and as-issue interior, boy-racer look/feel, fake exhaust tip, heavy, hair-raising insurance rates The Bottom Line: I haven't regretted buying this for a minute, and anyone else who loves driving for fun should test this and the MITSUBISHI Evo [excluded because not legal in Canada].
This review is of the WRX STi version, which I have owned for a little more than a year. Overall, there are three issues I have with the car [the fourth, as seen below, I have corrected]: 1) The steering lacks the delightful precision of a BMW M3 [one ...

Pros: Good gas mileage, super quick, great in the snow or on wet pavement, low maintenance Cons: The cigarette lighter fuse goes out all the time The Bottom Line: I will buy this model again and would recommend it to others. It is safe, quick, has good gas milage, and for what you get is reasonably priced.
I love this car!!! My parents got it for me when I was 18 because it has such good safety ratings and it has all wheel drive. I snowboard every weekend and this car has gotten me through some horrible weather conditions and has yet to get stuck in the ...

Pros: Powerful, AWD, good gas mileage about 25avg and i love the sporty look Cons: Why doesn't the back seat fold down!?!
Clunky shifts with the 5spd
This car is a ton of fun! Plenty of aftermarket upgrades that definetly improve performance and sporty feel. I've own mine for 3 yrs and it has 50,000 miles on it now, the only service i've done is oil changes (full synthetic which i highly recommend) and i changed the spark plugs once! Very reliable and fun to drive. Sure some of it's competitors are faster and may handle a little better but they don't look nearly as sharp. And who doesn't love the sound of that boxer engine! My first RS was an 02 now i have the 05 I was hoping to upgrade to an 08 or 09 but I've been seriously let down by the specs and appearance of them. I highly recommend this car to anyone. You get the best of both worlds, it's practical and sporty with lots of options and upgrades.
