Pros: very compact -- not at all bulky, comfortable and smooth ride Cons: ends of seats are slanted, headlights can be easily confused with the X5 The Bottom Line: I would recommend the 2006 BMW X3 because it offers great fuel economy and a luxurious ride.

Pros: Driving position, Handling, Performance, Comfort, Huge moonroof, Decent fuel economy. Cons: Exterior design, Interior materials, Uncomfortable Sensatec leatherette, Inconvenient storage/cupholders, Only decent power, Lower body cladding The Bottom Line: All crossover SUVs = compromies. X3 makes the best compromises -- the driving experience! The BMW of premium compact crossovers.
