Pros: Solid structure, reassuring road manners, excellent first- and second-row comfort, versatile cargo area. Cons: Unimpressive powertrain, compromised visibility, cramped third-row seat, impractical second-row captain's chairs. The Bottom Line: The Pacifica isn't the most logical family hauler, but it has a substantial, upscale deportment that many rivals lack. With deep discounts readily available, it's worth a test-drive.
Background As a design concept, the crossover SUV is still in its infancy, having just been born around the turn of the century. As a market segment, though, its already a juggernaut. Over the past five years, nearly a dozen ...

Pros: Attractive interior, top-notch highway cruiser, confident handling on ice. Excellent safety ratings. Cons: Poor reliability ratings. Visibility issues. Too heavy. Too thirsty. Too expensive once options added on. The Bottom Line: The Pacifica is your quintessential crossover, blending good qualities of different kinds of vehicles. Too bad its reliability ratings aren't so flattering...
I've always had a negative prejudice against Chrysler products. The reliability headache that followed my mother's patriotic impulse to buy an American-made Plymouth Grand Voyager LE has a lot to do with that. I had not seen anything different since ...

Pros: Supportive seats, roomy interior & a power trunk! Cons: Poor fuel economy The Bottom Line: \0/
The Pacifica is a six-passenger crossover vehicle made by Chrysler. It falls somewhere in-between a station wagon and a minivan. As usual, I'm writing this review from Beautiful British Columbia, so please understand that I'll be writing about one of ...

Pros: Interior space. Quality materials, fit and finish. Smooth, quiet ride. Good value for price. Cons: Average gas mileage. Blind spot to rear corners. The Bottom Line: A great alternative to a van: almost as much room overall in a much more attractive package.
It was really the interior of this vehicle that sealed the deal, particularly the second row of seats (standard on all but the base model). It contains separate "captains chairs" like in a van, with a storage console between them. Both seats recline and ...

Pros: Comfort and Handling Cons: Third row seating The Bottom Line: I highly recommend Pacifica for it's car like ride and comfort.
Buying a new car is one of my least favorite things to do. Dealing with high pressure sales people is not my idea of a pleasant car buying experience. To make this easier I suggest you to go to Edmunds.com or KBB.com to get the true cost of the vehicle ...

Pros: Great Ride and handling & back storage capacity Cons: poor wind design, difficult entry, blindspots, limited front storage The Bottom Line: The vehicle has some very good points but also has several design flaws (air/windows and entry access) that take away from a very nice looking vehicle.
So we are at the 12k mile mark.... still a nice driving vehicle... but the gas mileage is OK, not great, and the Tires (Goodrich All Trac Spec) are terrible in traction and handling in the rain. Since they are the stock tires - don't count on them ...

Pros: High safety rating; huge dealer discounts; very comfortable to drive. Cons: Engine power barely adequate; mediocre fuel economy. The Bottom Line: If you want a really comfortable and safe family car and don't care too much about performance or fuel mileage, look at the Pacifica.
At my wife's insistence, we traded a 2004 Suzuki XL7 and a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer for a 2006 Pacifica Touring FWD. I spend a lot of time commuting and she was very impressed with the safety ratings. Ours also has the optional side curtain airbags and ...

Pros: Beautiful exterior and interior. Kids are separated. Great climate control. Not a Minivan! Love it! Cons: Uses a lot of gas (but that's to be expected). The Bottom Line: I recommend this vehicle to anyone with kids, or people who want the seating arrangement of a minivan, without the look of one.
We've had our Pacifica since March, and we're so happy we chose it. We have the Touring, Signature Series, AWD. I love the signature series because it has two-tone leather (black and cream color), which makes it feel really high-end. The navigation has ...

Pros: Smooth ride, excellent interior , rear air cond., comfortable seating & great safety! Cons: Gas mileage isn't great & bigger trunk space, no more cons! The Bottom Line: I love Chrysler vehicles and would recommend them to everyone.
I begin by saying I will be a lifetime Chrysler owner. I had a 1999 Chrysler Town and Country, never gave me any problems except normal maintenance. It got high in miles so we traded it for something a lil more economical an 06 Mazda5. I had the ...
