Pros: huge sweetspot, great pop Cons: dents easily, expensive
I already have a doublewall that I use in my men's league but I needed a singlewall for my coed league so I went back to DeMarini. Let me say that my 27 oz end-loaded UW is MUCH lighter than my 27 oz DDW. MUCH! So you may want to find one and swing it...

Pros: Ball jumps off bat much faster Cons: the only think negitive is the price
I purchase a dimarini bat to see if it could help me in my hitting. I had no idea what it could do to help me. Balls i used to hit 200 to 250 feet started going 300 feet and more. I don't think i will ever use any other bat again.
The only thing i...

Pros: Good bat for the first 10 hits. Cons: Very, very poor durability.
I bought a DeMarini Ultimate Weapon thinking it would be a high-quality bat at an average price. The first time I used the bat, a friend and I took batting practice for about and hour or so, hitting a total of 50 or 60 balls a piece using ASA certified...

soft bat
by tcpage15 ,Apr 29 '04
Pros: good for the first few games Cons: very soft bat (save your receipt!)
I've been playing baseball/softball for 20+ years. I purchased an ultimate weapon last spring (May/2003). The bat was great for the first 30 games or so. After that it began to dent and lose its shape. I still use it but it looks like a 2x4 b/c it has so many dents in it. I have another buddy who has the same model and it's as bad as mine (he bought his early this year - 2004).

Great little singlewall! Great value!
by dpond ,May 26 '04
Pros: Great price & value. Nice hitting bat. For a line-drive, doubles hitter, great bat! Cons: Big time power hitters will flatten it out quicker, Has warranty though!
This was my second Ultimate Weapon after using the Easton Z-Core and C-Cores. For a low-end, singlewall, it's a great bat. I agree with the others that it'll probably flatten out eventually, even in a low compression league (375-525).
I'm by no means a home-run hitter but this bat made it through six seasons of heavy game use (probably four guys in the lineup using it) before flattening a bit in the last game. I'll still keep it around and use it when I can though. Look around even though it's listed higher you should be able to get it for under $100.
Moved up to a Rayzr, only because it was on sale at Dick's for $99, compared to $129 for the Weapon. I was all set to by a Weapon again before finding this great deal on the Rayzr.
