Pros: Maneuverability, quickness, acceleration, looks
Cons: A little short on top speed, but, hey, it's a 125!

This is my first scooter, although I have ridden motorcycles off and on for almost 40 years. This thing is just fun! I use it to ride back and forth to work (16 miles one way). It will corner with just about any sport bike I've ridden and will stop faster than I will, it seems.

So far, I'm pushing 700 miles, and the only manufacture-related issue I've had was the high beam indicator light burnt out at 240 miles. The dealership replaced it at my first service.

Pros: light, easily manueverable, great powerband, excellent warranty
Cons: no oil pressure light

I'm no stranger to scooter ownership, I've been riding them since, well that's not important.

For the money, Genuine Scooter company of Chicago has found a way to bring a powerful, high content scooter to these United States, with double the industry standard warranty, at a price-point that is surprising.

This little 125cc can easily go toe-to-toe with most 150cc scooters in accelaration, as well as top-speed. Fuel economy is astonishing at 80mpg+, about twice my other 150cc scooter.

This scooter is a bit small physically, not a negative, but smaller than other scooters I've ridden. It's a great size for most and women seem to love it, and not be intimidated by it's dimensions or weight.

With proper maintenance this is a machine I can predict will give many tens of thousands of service to it's smiling owners, but why, oh why no oil warning light? That is a major oversight to me, on a scooter capable of going 60 mph+.

For it's 2600 dollar price-point (plus taxes, fees f course) this is much more than a starter scooter...it's a viable vehicle capable of providing daily transportation, or weekend fun.

Pros: looks, power, fun factor
Cons: speedometer seems a bit generous

I just got a buddy 125. I am very impressed with the scooter.Very well built. I work at a very large scooter store we have probably 90 different scooters!
It is so much fun, my other scooter is getting jealous! (Yamaha Majesty 400)

Ok if the Loud Air Horn don't get you the Powerfull Motor will. the buddy goes 62mph and I am 5,9 200 pounds. Plenty of power from stop lights to pass and be safe unlike the Vino 125. I drove both and found the yamaha Vino way under powered even though its great looking. My brother and I both got the Buddy 150 the 125 has lots of power also both leave other scooters in the dust. Not that I was looking for a speedster I just want to be safe and be able to Go. 2 year waranty and no know issues the Genuine Buddy is the way to go.

Pros: Inexpensive to buy and own, Fast, Great Brakes and suspension.
Cons: Smallish size, strange license plate bracket on front of scooter.

Fast, agile and easy on the wallet. Acceleration is surprising for such a small scooter. It is able to embarrass other 150cc scooters and keep up with most 200cc bikes. Genuine Scooter Company has a strong reputation for standing behind their products.
