Pros: Great off road vehicle, in an off the shelf package! Cons: Small windows and plastic cladding tend to detract a bit. The Bottom Line: Hands down - this is one of the best 4x4 values for the money. Highly recommended for anyone who wants something "like nothing else".
Introduction As a long time Hummer H1 owner, it was time for me to buy something appropriate for my wife when it was her turn to get another vehicle. Despite the fact that we love the H1, getting another H1 was not in the cards, mainly due ...

Pros: 4-wheel drive
Locking differential optional
Easy to drive Cons: Gas mileage
Slow acceleration
not as much space as you think The Bottom Line: If you need a truck, this is a good vehicle to have. If you do not need a truck, this might not be the best vehicle for you.
I've had the H3 with the luxury and towing package for about 8 months now. I love having an SUV that is actually capable of off-road and bad weather conditions. In heavy snow and ice, the truck felt completely stable and there was loads of grip. Kick ...

Pros: Used Price, seats 5, folding rear seats,XM,ONSTAR, 6cd Monsoon, decent towing Cons: lacks torque and HP, haphazzard build and TSB's. Gas mileage. Front Seats uncomfortable The Bottom Line: Very little wind noise, suprisingly. This vehicle would be great for someone who needs an all time 4x4 climate area, but get a warranty.
My 2006 Shadow Green Metallic Hummer H3, is a base model, with an upgraded automatic transmission. It does have the standard 3.5L 5 cylinder engine, with power windows, power door locks, Monsoon 6 cd am/fm with XM satelite radio. Also ONSTAR ...

Pros: Extremely capable offroader. Very strong! Cons: Lacks passing power. Seat controls in very tight place ones doors are closed! MPG! The Bottom Line: Other than the underpowered the inline 5 and the hindered rear site this vehicle is a strong, very safe, highly capable vehicle. Better mpg than h2 but not great
This is an extremely capable off-road vehicle even more so than the h2 and h3. Similiar to colorado in the fact that it has a same style chassis and thats it! The h3 chassis is a boxed frame and much stronger, hence the great weight difference. This is a ...

I love my H3!

Pros: Affordable Hummer, easy to drive & park Cons: The window sills are high & makes it awkward to swipe my underground parking pass!
I had my heart set on the 2006 H3 for about 6 months. I researched & compared it online to other SUV's & decided it was exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately, with all the bells & whistles, it was a little out of my price range. I finally saw the car of my dreams (Shadow Green) on a dealer lot. It was used, almost 12,000 miles on it, but the price was right. It has a full luxury package upgrade, 20 in. chrome wheels, chrome sidesteps, tow bar, moon/sun roof, leather interior, butt warmers, upgraded stereo & speakers etc.
I drove it home for less than $40,000 all in & couldn't be happier.
The gas mileage isn't spectacular, 16-19, but it's easy to park, has great maneuverability, is pretty peppy & I experience little to no road noise on the highway. Some of the other SUV's I compared it to were even a little bigger overall, although with the 20 inch wheels it does sit higher. Sometimes vehicles behind me are almost invisible if they get too close.

Pros: Price is great, the options are wonderful and it is one SNAZZY looking car! Cons: Gas mileage is not great, Add a dome light for the front seats.
It looks big from the outside and it is BIG on the inside also! The front seats are great and the lumbar support is fantastic! I only wish that the passenger seat had it too! The back seats are great, just ask my son who is 6 and my 6 foot 4 inch tall husband! The cargo area is a DREAM! It fits all of our soccer, football and beach stuff and even my mountain bike! Have I mentioned the sun roof yet???? Where do I start????? I live in Florida and it is a MUST HAVE to live in the Sunshine State! It is HUGE and easy to operate! The tires are huge and it is superb off road! I have owned 5 SUV's with 4 wheel drive and this is my favorite to date!
