Pros: Super nice. All chrome and paint. Windshield, saddlebags, comfy seat Cons: This is the bike the truck hit me on the freeway. RIP H-D Heritage Classic*
2006 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic I had been riding my 2000 Springer Softail since February and realized I had been missing motorcycle riding much more than I realized. As I rode the bike daily to work and the miles mounted I came to know ...

Pros: Ergonomic comfort; tremendous panache! Cons: Long in the tooth and mechanical issues detailed
I spent three hard days in the saddle of a 2006 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail in Florida last month. My wife and I rode 700 miles through the Southland...from Ft. Lauderdale to Naples to Miami to Palm Beach and most points in between; plus local ...

Pros: Comfortable, ergonomic design, classic looks, great cruising Cons: Sluggish with the stock FI/air breather/exhaust setup
High maintenance spoke rims

New Owner 2006 Heritage Softail Classic FLSTCI
by jd59 ,Jul 17 '07
Pros: The Heritage Classic is well balance beautiful cruiser to ride all day. Cons: None at this time. I only wish I could have more time to ride it.
After 3 days of owning the bike, which is still in the break in period, I can say this is the by far the best Motorcycle I have owned. I purchase this Heritage Classic with 331 miles on it.
The Heritage Classic I own is fuel injected, and it starts instantly. This bike is easy to ride, handle, and is well balance even with a passenger on board. After the first night ride, I did adjust the headlight angle to improve night vision the next day. It was a simple job to complete. I also took the windshield off easily, and I prefer to ride my Heritage Classic without it. Shifting is clean and crisp on the 5 speed transmission. This is a work of art Harley Davidson stock Heritage Softail Classic.
