Pros: Great handling. Plenty of power. Comfortable and quiet. Good braking. Cons: Ill-timed transmission downshifts produce annoying hesitation. Not fun to drive around town. The Bottom Line: If you want a comfortable (and hopefully reliable) ride and don't care about performance, an Accord is great. If you want even basic performance, look elsewhere.
I bought my 06 Accord new ten months ago after my old car ran into a deer. The Accord is roomy and has a nice ride. Backseat riders even compliment the car's smooth and quiet ride. The 4 cylinder engine has plenty of power. Steering is responsive and ...

Pros: 6-speed version is very rare, acceleration is great, comfort, and excellent MPG, too. Cons: No cons, just a few little nit picks. The Bottom Line: Highly recommended to anyone who needs a practical car, but still wants to retain some fun to drive.
A quick intro: For the past several years, I've driven a succession of Toyota Camry's. It started out with my moms old '96 and '98 versions. More recently, I owned my own '99 Camry, and two 2002 models. Read my reviews on the Camry, and you'll find ...

Pros: Nice car. Good amenities. Cons: The competition is really tough, so shop around. The Bottom Line: The Accord is a great car, but it's competition isn't exactly a collection of lemons. Shop around.
I'm not much of a car enthusiast so my review won't be bogged down with a lot of technical details, but rather will focus on the practicality of this car. I drove both these cars (hybrid and not) on a test drive and was happy with it. It's a nice car ...

Pros: acceleration, looks cooler with dual tail pipes Cons: heavy acceleration feel
heavy power steering feel (requires more grip during a turn)
The Bottom Line: go for the 4 cylinder model over the 6 cyl
I have driven the honda accord 2005 4 cylinder and 2006 4 cylinder special edition for the past 2 years before recently purchasing 2006 accord v6 EX. My comute to work one way is 111 miles over hills, etc. I decided to go for the 6 cylinder accord since ...

Pros: Looks nice & sporty inside and out, drives great overall. Cons: Low roof, sensitive tires, acceleration issue at 24 mph, no auto night-light shut off. The Bottom Line: I would buy this car again. Hondas have been consistently reliable for me.
I bought the automatic 2006 2-door v6 Accord coupe with "the works" used. Leather seats, stainless steel interior, upgraded rims for the low profile tires...everything except for the GPS navigation. The car looks great and has handled very well EXCEPT ...

Pros: V6 engine, slick shifter, the usual Accord virtues Cons: Even with the six-speed not especially fun to drive The Bottom Line: A solid sedan with a great engine and the extra involvement provided by a clutch. But not especially fun to drive.
There have been rumors ever since the current Accord debuted three years ago that the V6 sedan would be available with a six-speed manual. But 2004 and 2005 came and went without the appearance of any such thing. Then 2006 rolled around and, what do you ...

Pros: Great Gas Mileage and decent power. Cons: CD-Player has problem with burned CD's, no IPOD jack The Bottom Line: Get the 4 cylinder for better mileage. The power is good enough.
Update: The CD-player has problem with burned CD's. On my car, the CD's start to skip towards the end. It seems to happen only on disc 1 and 2. I talked to Honda and they acknowledged this is a problem and is not covered. The CD-player plays non-burned ...

Pros: Country club styling, interior design, focus on funcionality, durability, price. Cons: Cynically: Honda badging, some I4 noise pronounced when accelerating. The Bottom Line: An all around well-made sedan.
The 2006 Honda Accord is an extremely well-rounded machine. It's like an "honor roll" student who performs well in virtually any subject. What makes me say this? Well... 1. The '06 Accord looks great: The freshening for the 2006 model year is ...

Pros: smooth engine, quality of interior, nice update! Cons: Not easy to get in the back seat, engine could use more torque The Bottom Line: A great redesign! Excellent quality and value in an exciting wrapper.
I bought the redesigned 2006 silver Accord Coupe 5 months ago to replace an Altima at the end of its lease. I was looking for a more sporty look and as always, reliability and value. I thoroughly researched the Camry Solara and Accord Coupe online using ...

Pros: Sporty performance, Acura-like interior, Excellent value for price paid Cons: Cheap spare tire cover, overly-sensitive brakes, uninspiring exterior, front seat design The Bottom Line: While the Accord isn't the best looking vehicle, it is more than satisfying behind the wheel. Those who give the outward appearance a chance will not be disappointed.
Honda, for over 20 years, has continued to perfect an award-winning formula for its mid-size sedan, the Accord. It has been a perennial top seller in the US and has been on the 10Best list of Car and Driver magazine more than any other vehicle, ...

Pros: considering a v-4 engine: fast, good accelaration. luxurious and comfortable, lots of compartment space
Cons: made sort of cheaply in my opinion: windows creak and drivers seat sqeaks. The Bottom Line: get this car if you want a cheap car that performs above its level. take care of it and it will treat you right
i have owned the v-4 honda accord for about 6 months now, and i have been somewhat happy. i like the power that is given out by a v-4 engine. the accelaration is better then i would have thought. the interior is nicely sized and the cloth is ...

Pros: Excellent Value, Good MPG, GREAT Safety, High quality feel, never let you down feeling Cons: Slight throttle lag, Can't complain, this is a great car for any price range The Bottom Line: Highly recommended. Super hassle free. Elegant, quiet, nimble and frugal all at the same time. Nice to blend in to traffic rather than stand out.
None of my friends could comprehend trading a 10,000 mile Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution for this car (paid off I might add). I can say that after almost two years of ownership of my Accord I do not regret my decision one bit. I decided that while my ...

Pros: Drives beautifully, loads of conveniences, very comfortable, excellent fuel economy Cons: I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about this car. The Bottom Line: Here is a car that not only pleases - it delights!
We bought this car in anticipation of cross-country road trip. Our previous Honda was still going strong and I felt a bit sorry to give it up until I test-drove the 2006. The car we bought is a top-of-the-line 4 cylinder automatic. Its sound system ...

Pros: Luxurious interior, refinement, styling inside and out, plenty of power from the 4-cylinder engine.
Cons: Road noise, ride quality still trails behind competition The Bottom Line: Excellent family sedan that is best at being all things to most people.
About the 2003-2006 Honda Accord: The Honda Accord was introduced in 1976 as a larger alternative to the Honda Civic. By 2003, the Accord had already evolved from seven generations. Available in both sedan and coupe bodies, the 7th generation ...
