Pros: Good genes, Safe for size, Futurista styling that worked, easy if you can bear it. Cons: Unhybrid behavior, Fake inflated fueld economy numbers law suite, Slow mo, bad hybrid by design. The Bottom Line: Only Prius allows decent fuel economy in city driving. Jetta TDI is less reliable but way more fun to drive. If you want a hybrid: Toyota makes it.

Pros: Good room. Smart transmission, power/economy as needed. Can deliver EPA numbers. Just plain reliable. Cons: Cold weather warm up of battery pack too slow. Won't autostop if defroster is on. The Bottom Line: Honda reliability and excellent road handling and as much fuel economy as you're willing to work for. Hybrids will deliver IF you seek. This one is no exception.

Pros: I bought it (fifth Honda) because of the looks (2 door coupe). Cons: Reliability, gas mileage is 38.5 mpg (Canadian). They don't back up their warranty. The Bottom Line: Not recommended. Dealer is main reason. Electrical problems. Frequent recalls. Poor gas mileage.
First, there have been four recalls. After one recall I got notified of another. I asked why they didn't fix both at the same time. They said it was not their policy. Secondly, on one occasion the car just wouldn't start. The lights inside flashed and ... read more
