A cat with bigger claws.

Pros: An elegant car that's quick, handles well, great on trips, with excellent build quality.
Cons: Would like a little better fuel economy.
The Bottom Line: At it's price point, the X-Type's standard AWD, overall performance, and reliability is hard to beat. Obviously, I like the Jag - I bought another one.

I recently replaced my 03 2.5 liter X Type with an 06 3.0 Liter one. With 229 HP on tap, the new cat is capable of 0 - 60 in just over 7 seconds, and, will easily reach its governed top speed of 121. Using only premium gas, my fuel economy on trips has ...
