Pros: VERY FAST,ATHLETIC,SAFE,LARGE INTERIOR,SPORTY APPEAL Cons: TOO FAST FOR A BEGGINER. The Bottom Line: The 2006 Nissan Maxima cries to be owned, its athletic performance,Luxurious stature, clean styling, and aggressive handing makes this an entertainer's dream car.
When Nissan redesigned the Maxima for 2004, little did we know that underneath this Chassis sat a car that most Americans would describe as a dream-car. A far better car than its predecessor(2000-2003).With its graceful styling and powerful 265 HP 3.5L ...

Pros: Powerful engine, aggressive styling, smooth ride, functional & comfortable interior Cons: Turning radius is about the only week link. The Bottom Line: Highly recommended if you're looking for a sports sedan. Sports car performance with Nissan reliability? A perfect match.
In the interest of full disclosure, I should probably preface my review with the admission that my first car was a '92 Maxima SE. As such, I might be a little biased. When I was looking for a new car this summer, my range of options was wide open. ...

Pros: Comfort, spacious, reliability, acceleration, Bose sound system, heated steering wheel Cons: acceleration (hard to handle), turning radius The Bottom Line: A great sedan for the money, the Maxima has all the toys, lots of room and comfort, all behind a powerful engine
After trying to get by with 'decent' used cars, I decided to dust off the wallet and buy a better car. It came down to the Cadillac CTS and the Nissan Maxima. Based on this review, you can tell which won out. This is a fantastic automobile, in every ...

Pros: Quality product all around Cons: No Cons to these cars The Bottom Line: I think the Nissan Maxima is the leader of the pack as far as these sporty quality sedans are concerned. Sexy Lines a screaming Motor and reliability.
I just purchased a 2006 Maxima SE with 12k miles this is how I purchase all my vehicles I think it's a waste of money to buy new due to the huge first year depreciation. This Maxima had a sticker of 34k when new and I ended up negotiating a buying price ...

Pros: The look and style, the many features available and the amount of space available. Cons: The only feature I did not like was the style of the console.
We had rented a 2006 Maxima while my car was in the shop and I totally loved driving this vehicle. It has a sporty yet classy look to it. The interior is comfortable in all seats for short and long trips. This car had tons of features, lots of space in the front and back and great horsepower. When you press the gas... it goes. Gas mileage was great as well. The only feature I did not like was the styling of the console with the silver plating. When the sun is shining just right this reflects into your face. I was very sad to return to my 2003 stratus after it was fixed.

Pros: Fast Cons: Read above
I've had this car for 6 months now. What a mistake! This car has a very bad turning ratio. Does not handle cornering smoothly. Not roomy enough for a big and tall person. Doors do not lock automatically, you have to do it yourself, after you get in the car. The dual air conditioning is a joke. It really works as one system with two vents. I had an older model, back in 1997, which was a much better car. Young people like the gadgets and the acceleration, but do not get fooled. Fuel consumption is 15 in the city, not 20 claimed by Nissan. Highway is 22. For the money, buy a Camry or a Chrysler 300M

Pros: Style, body lines, rounded front end, plenty of power, handle well. Cons: To much torque steer on acceleration. excessive road noise from tires.
Love the style, body lines and the rounded front end. The room inside is very comfortable for four adult. I have driven my SE for 18000 mile and there seem to be an excessive amount of road noise from the tires. Otherwise no problem.
