Pros: Improved styling, whisper quiet, customer service, price Cons: None thus far The Bottom Line: This cute and comfortable SUV is sturdy, stylish, and impressively low priced.
I have eyed the Saturn Vue for quite some time, always thinking the sleek styling and large cargo room was ideal if I ever needed a "family" type car. So, when the time came to purchase a larger vehicle, my husband and I hightailed it to our nearest ...

Pros: Plastic side panels XM radio
Honda Drivetrain
Honda V6 Engine
Cons: Issues with front suspension
Cellular antenna replaced 4 times due to corrosion
Better/More cupholders needed The Bottom Line: It's a good car and I'm pleased I leased it in the end. Just a few annoyances.
When it was time to happily get rid of my lemon of a 2002 Jetta, I drove everything out there. To be honest, I wanted a Nissan Murano but wasn't willing to fork over the money required to lease it for 3 years and as a last resort, headed to Saturn. ...

Pros: Roomy interior, sharp looking exterior. The redesign for 2006 is a hit over the 2005. Cons: ABS & Head Curtain airbags should be standard. 2.4L motor should be an option. The Bottom Line: If you are shopping for a smaller SUV, the Vue is absolutely worth a look. One of the best GM products out there!
We bought a new Saturn Vue for my wife last weekend...the 2.2L four with the automatic and tan leather with a moonroof. This is my wife's fourth Saturn, and my first experience buying one. Well, the buying experience is certainly a nice change from the ...

Pros: Nice layout. Quiet at speed. I liked the power assisted steering. Good mileage. Comfortable. Cons: Top of windshield a little low for me - long torso 6 ft person. The Bottom Line: I like it and I'd buy one if I needed another SUV.
I just got done renting a V-6 Saturn VUE AWD for some work in one of our SoCal Off-Road Parks. I do trail surveys & erosion assessments. I try all sorts of different 4x4s when I have to rent. I had this car for three days and took it off-road for ...

Pros: Roomy, Good gas mileage, Safety features, Comfortable, Good power, Affordable, Fun to Drive Cons: Plastic on doors, no compartment between seats,no handle to hang on when getting in The Bottom Line: Awesome car, would highly recommend it to everyone.
I have been driving Saturns since 1992, and this 06 Vue AWD V6 is our family's seventh one, my second Vue. I really didn't need a new one; the other Vue was a 03, but with the winters being so bad where I live, my husband wanted me to have the all-wheel ...

Pros: Great cargo space, very quiet on the highway, smooth clean lines. Cons: Basic stereo is pretty lame (compared to my son's Ion). I'd have preferred the 6cyl. The Bottom Line: The Saturn Vue is an economical, fun to drive vehicle that is a sporty SUV on the outside, but a great car on the inside.
My well loved Saturn 200SL was hit and totalled, so we went looking. We have had three Saturns in the family and my wife and I have been looking at the Vue for quite some time. We got the 2.2L FWD with 5spd manual, and the day we picked it up we drove ...

Pros: Plastic side panels, Honda engine, XM, Onstar, audio in jack, comfy seats, sunroof, Cons: A little noisy, poor cupholders, poor center storage console, no "oh %@!%@" handle The Bottom Line: Very sharp looking SUV at a wonderful price. Won't find another SUV with dent resistant panels and a honda engine!!
My wife and I are expecting our first child ANY day now. We realized that our second car, MY car haha, was severly inadequate for loading and transporting a child (it was a 1999 Monte Carlo). After just buying a car in February (see my review of the ...

Pros: Price - zippy - space and flexibility Cons: Placement of window switches - Number of cup holders The Bottom Line: Very happy with the VUE would buy it again but not the 2007 dont like the new body.
This is our first Saturn and we bought the a V6 Saturn Vue over the Chevy because of the Honda drive train. Could not be happier with the purchase. In under 2 years we have over 25k on the VUE. We got the stock V6 model with cloth and "leather" trim. ...

A lemon with no service
by dave75

Author's Product Rating:

Pros: Good for daily city drives. Visibility good, very small blind spots. Looks good. Cons: Everything else.
I confess that we put abnormally high mileage on the truck, but that doesn't explain the problems:
Electric seats quit within a year.
Stereo died shortly after (and would actually drain the battery at night if we left the fuse in)
3 or 4 wheel sensors replaced.
Transmission grinding at slow speeds.
No service. We were passed from dealer to dealer with no results (and paying $100 every time for them to say "I dunno").
Finally we unloaded it at a loss and bought a decent truck.
Maybe it was a lemon, but a littler customer service would have been nice.

Pros: Handling, Ride, Acceleration, Much improved looks over last year. Cons: New headlights too bright. Getting flashed like people think brights are on.
This is by far one of the best vehicles I've ever owned. Drives and rides like a car. The polymer body panels have already saved me from a shopping cart. It turns on a dime into tight parking spaces.

2006 Saturn Vu is a dream

Pros: gas mileage, ease in driving. Lots of room, and comfortable to ride in. Cons: I am not pleased with the Service Department
I love the car, the room and the handling of it all and even my husband after driving it was pleased with my choice.
I got no pressure from the sales department, and a great price. Could not have been happier.
My only concern is the service department. I took my vue in for a noise in the front end passenger side. They replaced my right strut mount and realigned it. Less than two weeks later, I had it back in for the same noise on the drivers side. I asked them when I took it in, did they not think to check the other strut mount when they replaced the one to see if it was damaged? Their answer...did not hear a noise. I was not please to yet drive my car in for service when I feel it could have been avoided just by being proactive in checking it out.
I will be trying a different dealership's service department hoping the one I went to was the exception and not the normal type of Saturn Service.

Pros: The pros are the gas mileage, size, and style. Cons: I haven't had a negative experiences with this car.
The Saturn Vue has been the best vehicle I have ever leased. I love this vehicle because it has low gas mileage, it has enough room for a family but it's not to big either. It a nice stylish car. When the lease is up in a couple years I want to stay in a vehicle that is the same as this one.
