Pros: Price, Gas, Power Cons: Not much, Can't really complain about the car. The Bottom Line: I used to sell Toyota and Scions. Yes.
I bought a brand new Scion tC back in 2006. It was a nice looking car and it was cost efficient. The nice thing about the car is the torque. It's not a fast car, but it's fairly quick for what you pay for. It has all the features mosts cars in it's class ... read more

Pros: price, features, engine Cons: big heavy doors, silly radio cover, ugly shifter The Bottom Line: Worth a serious look
While everyone knows that scion is just a branch of toyota, it has come quite a long way of setting itself apart from the actual "Toyota" name. The cars represent more of an urban, contemporary style that would never be found in any toyota. The 2006 ... read more

Pros: Cool standard features: Auto up/down windows, sunroof, etc. Stylish. Cons: Ridiculously expensive options. Get the floor mats elsewhere! Be sure you want aftermarket parts first. The Bottom Line: I'd recommend it, but I'd be wary of getting the available options. This is a great car for a driver and a passenger, with the rear seats down for stuff.
Overview: I've owned my 2006 Scion tC for 2 years now, and feel I've been fully acquainted with it. The demographic of the Scion tC is exactly geared towards me, I'm a 27 year old working professional. I work in a busy city and live in the suburbs, so I ... read more

Pros: a lot of things standard that you won't find in most cars, backseat is spacious Cons: gets too hot in the summer, you almost start boiling, over priced. The Bottom Line: They need to bring down the price, but is a great buy.
Comes with a lot of standard features - alloy wheels, sun roof, moon roof. There is no haggling the price with Scions, so it is in the upper $17,000s. The price needs to be brought down a little bit, just to make it a great buy. The panoramic moon ... read more

Pros: Styling, performance, comfort. Cons: Terrible quality, indifferent dealers and company The Bottom Line: I personally can't recommend the Scion TC because of poor paint and interior quality.
My Experience with my Scion TC is a mixed one at best. On one hand I love the styling, the car is fun to drive, handles well, and is comfortable. Sadly, there are lots of negatives. As a 51 year old man who doesn't abuse cars its hard to imagine all ... read more

Pros: well-designed manual transmission and a rigid, sporty, yet surprisingly smooth and quiet ride Cons: poor gas mileage compared to other coupes and sedans with similar power
The Bottom Line: The Scion tC is a surprisingly smooth and quiet 3000 pound go-cart. However, it needs help from Scion and aftermarket accessories to be visually stunning, and efficiency is rather modest.
INTRODUCTION I test drove a 2006 Scion tC with a manual transmission. I didn't expect much from this car because of its plain looks and unimpressive specs, but it offered a surprisingly enjoyable driving experience. INTERIOR The Scion tC is ... read more

Pros: Cost, performance, looks Cons: Tires, Passing Power The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this car because it's the best there is for the price.
Since everyone else has given you the basics about the Scion, I'd just like to add a few tidbits that comes from the experience of owning one for a year with a manual transmission, and knowing practically nothing about cars. Otherwise, the normal female ... read more

Pros: Great to drive, looks good, MP3 access Cons: XM radio and deck spoiler not compatible, trade in uses WHOLESALE value The Bottom Line: I would recommewnd the car overall, but check the options very carefully and be prepared NOT to bargain.

Pros: "Social Seating". 40 optional features for customization Cons: Extra $ for floor mats The Bottom Line: No reason to think twice. Great car for the money. Great standard and extra features.
I never thought I'd purchase a brand new car in my life. That is, until I saw the 2006 Scion Tc. The Scion name – Folks, there’s no reason to wonder about the quality of "SCION". While you may think that this is some new company, this ... read more

Pros: More power than you need, fun to drive. Great value. Great Look. Cons: Seats are not comfortable, poor visibility when backing up. Loud road noise.
This car has amazing performance, I get great passing ability from the vast amount of power yet to use in this engine. This car is fun to drive. The only improvements I would make would be to replace the low profile tires with regular tires, the rims

Pros: Style, price, standard features, room. Cons: No rear windshield wiper.
I bought this car last July. I work at a dealership so I got a pretty good deal. It is adequate in power and fuel economy. I took a trip to Maryland from South Carolina and was comfortable considering the car size. Sound system is good. I think the looks

Pros: good gas mileage
nice looking
Ipod hookup Cons: plastic features
paint chips easily on the exterior
brakes grind whenever wet
We purchased our Scion TC in September and have thoroughly enjoyed the car itself. The one negative is that we chose to purchase a new car versus a used car and expected it to stay new looking; the problem is that many of the cars features are plastic

Pros: Plenty of included features for what you get. Cons: Blind spots, you'll need to adjust your mirrors accordingly.
I bought my 2006 Scion tC back in October and I couldn't be any happier. Out the door, the car was set at a fixed price (no sales rep hassle) and right off the bat, I noticed the handling and muscle for a 4-cylinder this car had. Granted, it's the same
