Pros: Interior styling and materials, handling in aggressive driving, value for the dollar
Cons: Steering could be more communicative, power-to-weight ratio trails the best, third row access

Pros: Drives incredibly well
Great Entertainment/ Navigation system
Very Reliable
Wide middle row
Cons: Blind spot with certain car seats in middle row
Not Great in snow
Gas Mileage
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended for family of 4 or 5 with a dad or mom who likes to drive.

Pros: 300HP Ultra low emission V6, Navigation, Audio, etc.
Cons: Should have rain sensing wipers and auto dimming rear view mirror standard.
The Bottom Line: Acura has raised the bar in the very competitive luxury suv segment. Technology, performance, handling, and luxury have made this the class leader.

2007 Acura MDX test drive

Pros: Sporty & quick. Smooth ride. Didn't feel like a 'big' vehicle.
Cons: Too many buttons on center stack. Rear visability.
Test drove the new Acura MDX in early February of 2007. I was very impressed. It didn't feel at all like I was driving an SUV. I had test driven the Honda Pilot about an hour before, and the MDX felt nothing like it. The Pilot felt like a big vehicle. The MDX felt like a sedan, only a little bit higher off the ground. The ride was smooth. Acceleration was great. Seats were comfortable. Fit and finish were impressive (even though wood detailing is faux). Backseats had ample leg room. Cargo capacity was very good. Center stack was very busy. Too many buttons for my taste. Could be cleaned up a bit. Not a deal breaker by any means. Backup camera a plus. Overall, a nicely put together vehicle that is practical and sporty.
