Pros: * stylish
* inexpensive to purchase
* reliable
* functional
Cons: * Rear seat is not comfortable
* Power windows controls are in an unusual
The Bottom Line: I don't recommend this vehicle as I feel that there are better quality cars for the same money.

I bought the Chevrolet Equinox LT at the model year end of 2007. We were looking to get rid of my wife's minivan and get something less cumbersome and with better gas mileage. We took advantage of a dealer rebate and spent around $21,000.  We bought ... read more

Pros: Feel of an SUV without being a gas hog! Great for City and Highway driving.
Cons: I don't have any cons, I really love my equinox and recommend it to anyone!
The Bottom Line: I recommend this car if you are looking for a crossover SUV that is great on gas with lots of room.

I absolutely love my Equinox! It is VERY roomy on the inside, whether the passenger or driver, you never feel confined! I travel for a living and the Equinox is very good on gas, a very smooth ride on the highway and with the added feature of OnStar I ... read more

Pros: The seats weren't uncomfortable. The cargo area is of decent size.
Cons: Whistling windows Weak engine Hard to keep at a constant speed
The Bottom Line: No doubt you will find it highly discounted at your local Chevy dealership but unless they are giving them away for free do not buy it.

I was almost ready to give this vehicle a break until I logged onto this site and realized that this beauty is in it's 4th model year. Fortunately I did not purchase one of these but I did spend an entire week with one and this is my opinion. YUCK!!! ... read more

Cons: Silly taillights, so so build, cheap plastics, fit n finish
in the local TV news business and I've had this vehicle for about the last 6,000 miles. Construction is so-so. The plastic on the doors feels thick and waxy and the fit is mediocre. For instance, around the instrument bezel, the left side of the ... read more
