Pros: Soothing interior design, mellow exhaust burble, high towing capacity. Cons: Still-trucky ride and handling, outrageous fuel economy, cramped third-row seat, marginal cargo versatility. The Bottom Line: If you really need a large, truck-based SUV, the Tahoe makes a strong case for itself. Otherwise, consider your many other options.
Background When it comes to family transportation, full-size SUVs are something like a super-sized Big Mac dinner at McDonalds. The flavors arent very sophisticatedwere talking ladder frames, live rear axles, and ...

Pros: Interior design and handling are much improved Cons: Third seat a joke, low-speed acceleration a bit weak The Bottom Line: While owners of older GM SUVs will find a significantly improved vehicle, the new Tahoe won't draw many additional buyers into the segment.
GM's ever-lower market share and persistent financial losses, combined with crushing retiree healthcare costs, have led many to prophesy that it will declare bankruptcy in the not too distant future. GM has responded that future products will save it. ...

Pros: Excellent redesign. The least expensive of the GMT-900 SUV models GREAT FOR SMALL FAMILIES Cons: steering wheel, interior space/cargo capacity issues, fuel economy The Bottom Line: The Chevy Tahoe's redesign is so great, you may think you've accidently stepped into an Escalade. Highly recommended to families in need of a budget SUV.
2007 is going to be a magnificent year for new SUVS. Firstly, GM has renovated their entire line by taking a good hard look at all the consumer replies sighting cheap interiors, cheap parts and poor handling and has ...

I had never seriously considered the Tahoe until my wife steered me in the direction of the Tahoe row at the Chevy dealer. Walking up to the vehicle I noticed the clean chiseled look of the Tahoe a big plus for me as of you are going to pay around ...

Pros: All of the extra built in features like a luxury car Cons: Whistling sound from windows,no fold flat 3rd row, no auto up windows, lack of storage The Bottom Line: Best value for a loaded SUV. If you like the the Cadillac Escalade but want to save yourself some money- BUY it!
This SUV is a great vehicle with a price tag of 7,000 off of the MSRP, which I think is super deal for what you get in it. Our LTZ is fully loaded for 46K with a great DVD player- its a bit tricky to use with the remote but has a large screen. Its ...

Pros: Everything! Great Vehicle! Cons: Gas mileage.
I have been a GM man for several years. My wife and I have been shopping to trade our Lexus RX300 in for a full size SUV and have fallen in love with the Tahoe. We purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ with all the bells and whistles. It has Navigation/Dvd/power lift gate/ and all the extras that comes with the Tahoe LTZ.
We are extremely impressed with the vehicle and love it greatly! If you are looking for a full luxury vehicle with amenities, there is no need to purchase a Lexus or other, go with the Tahoe.
Chevy has impressed me with the engineering of the interior as well as the smoothness of the ride.
The only con I can think of at this time is the gas mileage. So far I have averaged about 17 MPG.
