OK, I wasn't interested in buying a car. Hey, my econo car was getting 50MPG on the road...making me happy. But I heard the Nissan Versa & Dodge Caliber had new type CVT(continuously variable ratio) transmissions with strong carbon fiber pulleys. Past ...

Pros: The sound system rocks, flashlight in back, reclining back sets. Cons: The cool zone was a let down, blind spots in back corners. The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car to anyone looking for a small SUV type car.
I love the "little ram" look of the Caliber. I wanted to get a new SUV but didn't like the gas millage or the size I was finding. Then I saw the Caliber on a billboard, of all places, and went to check it out at our local dealer. My only complaints ...

Pros: Great handling, wonderful sound system, perfectly built. Plenty of options to suit your needs. Cons: Could use some small improvements, but nothing major. The Bottom Line: It has very few shortcomings, and nothing about it makes me doubt my purchase in the slightest. My Caliber is great, and I highly recommend it.
I bought a 2007 Dodge Caliber R/T AWD 2.4L this summer, and I have to say I'm very happy with my purchase. I went on a long road trip last weekend and realized that I only had a few small complaints about the Caliber, and they're all very minor. ...

Pros: Affordable, Safe, Stylish Cons: Seats arent comfortable, Only seats 4 (comfortably) The Bottom Line: Compared to other suv/cross-overs in the price range, this was by far the most stylish, comfortable, driveable one!
When my Isuzu Rodeo started going out in the summer of 2006, I started looking for a replacement vehicle. I'm in my mid-20's so I didn't want a sedan or large suv, but rather something that mixed the two. I didn't know much about Dodge but really liked ...

Pros: Cool to drive and look at. Comfort, Price, Fuel Economy, Roomy, Safety, Seats 5. Cons: AC is optional (need it), Sportier models are over the top. The Bottom Line: Give this car a try, if you are trying the Matrix, Forester, Outback, or Vibe. I'm really glad I did.
I had always wanted a VW, but VW isn't making cars for me at this point in my life 30's with 3 kids. They've traded MPG for Horsepower, and seem to be trying to be like Audis. If I wanted an Audi, I'd buy an Audi. Too many options I don't want on them, ...

SXT 2.0L basic car with moon/sunroof First let me start by saying, I wasn't sure I wanted this car when I first test drove it because of the visibility. I wanted an SUV but didn't want to have high car pmts that follow, and I didn't want the low ...

Pros: Absorbs potholes, motor & transmission, hatchback versatility hard vinyl surface, mp3 stereo & holder. Cons: Road noise on rough surfaces, Poor visibility, plastic interior, poor gas mileage, oil consumption. The Bottom Line: Research on Google the real world gas mpg by owners. Drive on rough cement roads and decide if you mind the noise. Can you deal with poor visibility?
My review will add to the other reviews. The review that represented my experience most closely was: "Caliber SXT: Dodge Keeps Its ION The Prize". I feel he was about 1 star too harsh and neglected the benefits and concerns I will discuss in this review. ...

I must say I loved my 2001 Neon LX auto, but it was time to let it go and since that model was no longer sold in the UK after '04, I didn't have the option of buying a new one. Although called a Chrysler Neon here I knew that it was a Dodge in it's ...

Pros: Great handling, 6 speed is great in controlling speed when AWD needed. Cons: Tires, air filters, etc. are not a the 'consumer' level yet, (in 4/2008). The Bottom Line: A fun, solid and fast car that makes a drive and the traffic more interesting than plodding along in the right lane.
I have a large 'fleet' of used cars, with teenagers and a working spouse, and didn't need the eight seats anymore with a retired Durango in the yard, so traded the Suburban in for a 2007 R/T Caliber last December (2007). The AWD Caliber with a CVT ...

When I purchased my 2007 Chevrolet Equinox I had to take it in to the dealer so that they could install some new rims that I had upgraded to when I purchased it. They weren’t ready at the time of purchase. I had to drive around a 2007 Dodge Caliber for ...

Driving the Dodge Caliber is certainly a life change for me. I had driven a Ford Ranger for 15 years and hated parting with it, but it was time. Being a cheap person I bought an older used vehicle that promptly broke down (in a major way) 8 months later. ...
