Pros: Plenty of power, great gas mileage, spacious. Cons: cupholders. The Bottom Line: This is a great truck for both work and play, with or without kids. It's Dodge tough and its versatility makes it a winner.
Why I bought this truck: I bought this truck from Earnhardt’s Dodge in Phoenix Arizona for work mostly; I live on a ranch in a rural area and felt that putting some of the things that I have in the past in my SUV just wasn’t working anymore. You ...

Pros: Easy to drive, sturdy and comfortable Cons: Not much The Bottom Line: This is worthwhile truck to buy for everyday use.
I always wondered about people who buy trucks. I assumed that most belong to professions that require a truck. But, when I started to see trucks at the university parking lot where I work, I began to wonder about the utility of owning a truck. Well, ...

Pros: Miles per Gallon, Towing power and roominess inside. Cons: Only comes in a short bed version. The Bottom Line: I would recommend buying a Dodge Ram Mega Cab because it gives you the truck you want with the seating you need and lots of storage space.
I bought my 2007 Dodge Ram Mega Cab 2500 3/4 ton with the cummins turbo diesel about 4 months ago. I have a family of 6 with three dogs (one big and two small) Believe it or not we actually traded in our 2005 Denali for this truck. I am very happy that I ...

Pros: Not able to find any with current problem Cons: "Can't Duplicate " Shimmy / Vibration, so tell me when happens, DRIVE RIGHT IN. The Bottom Line: At this point, I would not recommend Dealership to anyone. Have not been able to truly evaluate truck.
Overall, Body is acceptable, nice interior. Wind noise around windows is better, but still not eliminated. Have a Recurring, but Intermittent, Shimmy / Vibration above 60 MPH. This is felt in the steering wheel, as well as felt throughout the ...

Pros: Best looking full size. Impressive power. 5 lug axels. Roomy interior. Cons: None thus far. The Bottom Line: I would certainly purchase this truck again. Good power, great looks, good value, and a blank canvas on which to create.
This has been one of the nicest trucks I've owned. I had narrowed my search down to 3 possible vehicles; Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan, and the Dodge Ram. My former vehicle was a Mustang Cobra. As we 'become more seasoned,' we evolve in our vehicle ...

Hill Start Assist 2007 Dodge Ram

Pros: It's a good looking truck. Cons: Hill Start Assist, ESP, Steering
This is a terrible design! This feature is designed to keep brakes engaged while on a hill for a short period of time to keep vehicle from rolling backwards. When releasing the brake on any grade incline, A horrible clicking sound is present. While confronting Daimler On This Problem among a few others, I was assured that this is intentionally how the system is designed...... What? Had I of known of this nuisance of a noise, I would have never bought this vehicle.
To top that The ESP (Electronic Stability Program), which applies brake pressure when vehicle starts to skid or lose control also makes this noise while going around steep curves etc.... Not very satisfied here.

2007 Dodge 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel/This Truck Rocks!

Pros: Diesel power, roominess, mileage, standard features Cons: Nothing yet.
I have had my Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel 4X4 with the 6 speed automatic transmission for about 2 months now. I need a heavy duty truck to pull a coal trailer as well as a horse trailer. I tested all major brands of Heavy Duty diesel Pick-up trucks and the Toyota Tundra(which has no diesel model). The Dodge and Toyota came out on top. Both the Toyota and Dodge share the same 6 speed automatic transmission, handle and stop exceptionally well. Both trucks had excellent room and both trucks back seats had more room than most mid-size cars made today. In the end I choose the Dodge for two reasons; 1) The Cummins diesel reliability reputation.
2) The Dodge just seemed like a truck that wanted to work.
I read a few articles and press releases from Toyota about cam shaft failures in the Tundra, so I felt validated in my decision.
I love my truck, this Dodge pulls my trailers with ease, and it stops just as well with the standard Jacobs engine brake. I do not regret my decision at all. I highly recommend this truck to anyone.

Pros: 18MPG solid well built Cons: Height ! the bed is to high for my old Gooseneck (so are the others)
I have had Dodges for the last 7 years and this is by far the best
I purchased it 12 months ago and have done 30000 some long halls of over 6000 - I have had one problem ! the thing wouldn't start but I called the free towing service and within 2 hours was back on the road the second time I was outside the dealership and it was dead after 30Mins they tracked the problem to the starter and once again I was back up and running (Zero $0) If you want power this is the truck, I have palled (16 x 16) log cabins up hill horse trailers and even a small dozer and you wouldn't know you were pulling
why oh why are all the pickups so high (I'm not a kid) and want the practical hight so I don't have to lift - come on 3" lower please

What a truck

Pros: Roomy, Power, Appearance Cons: Will leave you longing to own one
I will admit that prior to test driving the 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, I was a bit of a sceptic that the truck would not be able to hold a candle to its predecessor. I was not happy that Dodge had decided to get rid of the V8 Magnum and go with the 5.7 liter Hemi with MDS. I automatically assumed that meant less power. However, upon driving the 2007 Ram 1500, I discovered that I was mistaken. The HEMI puts out 345 horsepower and really has good pickup and power. I test drove the Laramie edition and was very pleased with all of the "extras" in the truck. The audio controls were mounted on the steering wheel, which is very convenient, and the rear sliding window was power. Dodge has added a wood trim look to the dash, which adds a touch of elegance to the truck. The seats were very comfortable and there was adequate leg room in the back seat for an adult to ride comfortably. With the current incentives offered by Dodge, the Ram 1500 is a deal that can't be beat.
