Pros: Superb quality, excellent performance and comfort at a reasonable price. Cons: Poor rearward visibility. Lacks rear legroom. Smallish trunk. Premium fuel required. The Bottom Line: My wife chose the IS 250 over the BMW 3 sedan because of greater comfort, more modern interior, quiet, and greater sense of confidence in real world driving situations.
[FYI: the photo accompanying this review does not appear to be a 2007 Lexus IS 250.] Around January, last year (2006), my wife started saying, When I get my promotion, Im going to buy a BMW. A BMW 325i, more specifically. Well, she ...

Pros: Sporty performance, safety features galore, solid build quality and great overall design Cons: Initially notchy shifter, a little tight if you are larger than average person. The Bottom Line: Buy it and don't pay for all the options as it really isn't necessary! Standard features are plenty and it's safer than most vehicles as well as providing sporty fun
I was fortunate enough to have walked by a local Lexus dealership about a month ago in February to snag an incredible deal on a brand new 2007 IS250 in Tungsten Pearl (silver) colour with a 6 speed manual transmission. The dealership had upgraded the ...

Pros: Power, luxury, finesse and fun. You'll be the envy of your friends. Cons: No manual transmission offered, no AWD offered. The Bottom Line: If you are in the market for a luxury sports sedan, take a look at the IS350 which combines both nicely.
I purchased my Lexus IS350 July 26 and I've been driving it around for nearly one month and I thought that was sufficient time driving the car to give a competent and comprehensive review. Features: The IS350 comes standard with a 3.5l V6 engine ...

Pros: Just about everything! Cons: Premium fuel required, Premium price, smallish trunk The Bottom Line: When I can spend 30K on a car, this is the choice
My recent search for a new car led me to drive several cars that I really had no intent on purchasing. Until I drove the IS250, the car I loved most was the Acura TSX. It's simple beauty, slick shifting six speed and the song of it's i-vtec motor were ...

Pros: Silence, Smooth ride, performance and luxury. Cons: None, seriously not one. The Bottom Line: This is the best car I have ever owned, and as a result I will now remain loyal to the Lexus brand.
Let me start out by saying I am a stickler for car quality, and hate it when manufacturers cut corners to save a few cents. Well I'm happy to say this isn't the case with Lexus. Immediately I was impressed with how quiet this car is, especially ...

Pros: Lots of Power Like the stiffness of the steering. Comfortable front seating. Cons: No memory for seating. Small seating in back, but knew that when buying.
Kinda like looking at a beautiful woman without a bra on...you can't help staring at her. This Matador Red beauty has such nice lines, it draws people with seeing eye dogs.

Pros: AWD feature works well in snow, ice; fuel efficient; excellent acceleration; very comfortable; perfect 10! Cons: The navigation is a little complex but not overly so.
I love, love, love this car!! I have owned several new cars in my life and this car, by far, is the best I've ever owned. I have had it for a year. It performed admirably in the snow and ice - much better than previous sport utility vehicles that I've owned. The dealership, Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly, VA, has been terrific from the initial sale to routine maintenance. What a difference from the BMW dealerships I had dealt with recently! The car really accelerates nicely and it a blast to drive. It is fuel efficient: I've received about 19-24 mpg in the city. It is very comfortable. The leather is beautiful and the heated/cooled seats are well calibrated. I can't live without the backup camera and the bluetooth feature is terrific! The head turning quotient is excellent! I love the little growl in the engine when I accelerate. I highly recommend this car! Driving my little IS is the best part of my work day!
